All purchases become the responsibility of the buyer when the auctioneer declares them sold and charges them to a number. Big or small, all items become your responsibility when the auctioneer declares them sold. There will be a $50 Document Fee on any licensed, titled or bill of sale vehicle including trailers and ATV's. For titled vehicles you will need to tell us what name goes on the title at time of check out. Titles will be sent certified mail. Please make sure we have your correct address. You will transfer title at your tax office. We will have to assist you in any dealer titled vehicle. You are buying these vehicles as is. We have no way of knowing the road worthiness of these vehicles. You need to take the proper precautions before you put them on the road. You need to make sure you have liability insurance, or have them towed or hauled. Under no circumstances are these vehicles covered by liability insurance. Make sure you have coverage before you leave the yard. If you need equipment hauled, we can assist you in finding a hauler. Any hauling and transportation is provided by independent contractors who are not affiliated with Switzer Auction Services. You should negotiate your deal with them separately. Payment must be made on sale day, regardless of when you plan to pick your purchase up.
