1. This is an internet only auction. All bidding is online. The bidding for this auction will close on Monday, June 18th, 2018 at 7:00pm. Lots will close approximately every 20 seconds. This means that a final bid of $100 plus the buyer's premium constitutes the total purchase price of $110 with sales tax of $6.60 for a total due of $116.60. 11. You will receive an invoice listing the items won within a few hours of the auction closing. Payment is due at the time of pick up. Credit cards, cash and approved checks are accepted. This auction of watches, parts, and watch making tools is part of the Paul Kreider Estate. He was employed by Hamilton Watch and its successor companies for 40 years. He began his employment as a press operator in the 1960's with only a high school diploma. He would later become the supervisor for the press department and then the supervisor for several departments. Eventually, through his tenacity and strong work ethic he worked his way up to Senior Program Manager for military applications at L3, BT Fuse (formerly Hamilton Watch). In addition to his primary occupation he was also a skilled watchmaker. He was quite mechanically inclined and learned the basics of watchmaking from John Heisey of Heisey's Jewelry Store in Manheim Pa. Over the years he improved his craft. For approximately 25 years, as a second job evenings and weekends, he repaired watches at home behind the scenes for three local jewelry stores, including Heisey's Jewelry Store. Items include Pulsar Stainless LED watches, Longines Ship's Chronometer on Gimble with case, vintage Hamilton men's and women's watches, Waltham, Windsor, Elgin, Illinois GF, Lathes, Jeweler's tools, dial indicator, loupes, and much more.
