The late former Judge Bascom Bentley�s collection of sports memorabilia, political memorabilia and more. These items have recently been removed from the East Texas Culture Museum in Palestine TX. and was known as �Bentley�s Exhibit�. His exhibit area spanned 3 rooms on the 3rd floor of the Old Palestine High School building which was made into a museum. Bentleys exhibit included Sports memorabilia including NFL, College Football & High School Football Helmets. Most are game worn helmets. Approximately 400 game worn Texas High School Football Helmets, 140 College Helmets as well as NFL Helmets. Lots of signed jerseys and Basketball & Baseball memorabilia, and Political memorabilia. Authentic Taxidermy Mounts, Vintage & Antique Display Cabinets Lots of unique collector items in this auction. Judge Bentley was an avid sports fan, never met a stranger and would ask for a signature any chance he got. Majority of anything signed was done on spot and done using real ink pens or sharpies.
