4-H CUT MEAT FUNDRAISER AUCTION
 
To be held during the 70th ANNUAL GRUNDY COUNTY CORN FESTIVAL
 
Location: American Legion Post #294, 212 W Washington St, Morris, IL 60450
 
Directions: Located 4 blocks West of IL-47 on Washington St in Downtown Morris.
 
The 4-H Federation will be holding their annual Cut Meat Auction during Corn Festival. They will be selling cuts of beef, pork, and lamb. The auction will take place inside the American Legion Hall. The auction is open to the public. John Davis [with the Grundy Kankakee Will Counties University of Illinois Extension] said the meats available are always delectable and a great way to contribute to the local 4-H programs and to other U of I Extension programs, such as Science Camp and Government Day. The meat is from animals raised by Grundy County 4-H students and shown at the 4-H Fair earlier this year. The Friends of 4-H purchase the animals and donate them to the cause.
