Folks this is a fun event with great food and a nice benefit auction. Talk about Mennonite cooking at it's best! You won't be disappointed! Supper will be served from 5:00- 7:00 and the auction will start directly after that.
Auction items are donated and there is always a nice selection and variety. Everything from baked goods to woodwork, local business donations to home items. It's fast, fun and great food.
All proceeds go to the nursing home which is going to be renovated as well as added on to. Maple View is the home where most of us would like to spend the sunset years of our lives in if we need a little extra care. Down a quiet country road and next to the school it sure beats being up town and forgotten! Many, many visitors stop in at the home because it's right in the heart of the community. Plan to join us this year and you will be sure to mark your calendar for next year! |
