Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. retains the right to govern goods and services sold to clients and to maintain the level and integrity of our business. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. has the right to terminate the auction at any time; withdrawal from sale of any item; to sell at this auction items not listed; to group one of more lots into one or more selling lots or to subdivide into two lots or more selling lots. The auction company also reserves the right to sell all of the items listed in bulk.
Payment:
a) All payments will be required to be paid for with the credit card on file after auction is complete.
b) Buyer's Premium is 13% Online
c) Buyer specifically waves the right to dispute or deny payment for any purchases made with a credit card.
d) No items will be removed until they have been paid for. Purchaser is responsible for removal of all purchased goods. No abandonment of purchased items is allowed. All abandoned items will be sold for storage and moving fees.
Loading Equipment:
a) Buyer is responsible for their own removal of all items. Please bring any packing material and boxes that you may need. Please bring assistance to move heavy items to your vehicle and any tools for dismantling.
Pick up of Items:
a) All items must be on the scheduled pick up date.
b) Outside of the Base Road Location-All Items must be picked up on the scheduled pick up times. If they are not they will be considered abandoned and become the possession of Harmeyer Auction, No Refund will be issued (10/7/2020)
c) Base Road Location: Any item remaining in our building 7 days after the scheduled auction pick up will be considered abandoned and become the possession of Harmeyer Auction, No Refund will be issued (10/7/2020)
No Liability:
a) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. assumes no liability for your purchases. The buyer assumes and does agree to indemnify and hold the auction company and seller harmless from any future claim that shall pertain to fitness or use of the asset being purchased.
b) Persons attending during exhibition, sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage or loss to person and property and specifically release and indemnify the Auction Company from liability therefore. Neither the Auction Company nor his principal or seller shall be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises in which the sale is held. Consignors & Bidders: a) All consignors must fill out a contract with Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC., sign forms and abide by our terms listed.
b) All bidders must register for bidder's numbers using proper ID or proper information.
c) Any employee of Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. may bid at any auction if they wish to purchase an item.
d) All items become the sole responsibility of the purchaser when the auctioneer confirms your bid as the successful winner. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
e) If there is any dispute between two or more bidders, the auction company or its' auctioneer, may decide the successful bidder. The decision of the auction company, or its' auctioneer, shall be final and absolute.
Loss of Bidding Privileges:
a) If you have failed to pay for an item your bidding privileges will be revoked. Your privileges may be restored by paying for the item or repaying for the loss of the revenue due to the items not having been sold and by placing a credit card on permanent file whereby future purchases will automatically be charged.
Delinquent Accounts:
a) The bidder that has not paid for, or has not removed their items from the auction site, will be subject to the cost of storage, trucking, re-sale, deficiency balances, collection fees, and any legal fees for recouping a loss due to the bidder's negligence.
Reserves:
a) Any and all items that Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. agrees to sell are subject to a reserve as per Indiana State Auction Law.
Documents:
a) All documents must be completed in full by buyers and sellers. For Example: Death Certificates, Letters of Authority, Creditor Leins, and UCC's when purchasing vehicles, firearms, etc.
b) All gun buyers will be required to fill out a 4473 form and pass a background check. Out of state buyers will be required to have any and all guns shipped to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) Dealer.
Compliance with the Terms of Sale:
a) In default of payment of bills in full within the time announced for this auction the Auction Company in addition to all other remedies allowed by law, may retain all monies received as deposit or otherwise, as liquidated damages.
b) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. is in complete accordance with Indiana statutes and Indiana Administrative codes, Title 25, Title 812, Department of Revenue Tax Bulletin #20, and Reference IC 6-2-4.
Warranties:
a) Everything is sold "AS IS/WHERE IS" with no warranties, representation or guarantees expressed, implied or otherwise given. All sales are final.
Conditions of Items Sold:
a) All information is believed to be accurate, but the auction company shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of or defect in any lot, and makes no warranty in connection therewith.
No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold "as is" and without recourse. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. requires any and all buyers to preview and make your own opinion of conditions.
Auctioneers have the right to refuse service or eject any person obstructing the auction process.
The record of sale kept by the Auction Company, the audio tape of the auction and the bookkeeper records will be taken as final in the event of any dispute.
Shipping/Pick up
a)All items must be paid for prior to pick up or shipping of the item
b)Pick up will be scheduled the following day after closing of the auction unless otherwise noted
c)If items are to be shipped the buyer will first pay for the item at the close of the auction. Then after payment has been made the items will be boxed and packaged for a fee of $5 per box. Then the card will be charged again for the shipping & handling fees and the items will then be shipped.
d)If the card is declined for the shipping fees the buyer will be notified and items will not be shipped until the shipping is paid in full.
e) if items are not picked up on the scheduled pick up day, they may be considered forfeited and no refund will be made.

Joan Wittkamper Due to the passing of both Mr & Mrs Wittkamper, we have been asked to liquidate the remaining personal property for the family. Mr. Wittkamper was a life long resident of the Tipton County and Elwood area with having a business in Elwood for many year. We are offering an online only auction for the items in the estate, there are several great items including Elwood, Curtisville are school items along with a collection of Wendel Willkie memorabilia. Auction Pick up: December 11, 2020 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm 1 Lynxx Battery Pole Saw Very nice Lynxx brand battery pole saw, comes with charger as well. 40v Lithium battery, sling and has not been used much approx 1.5 years old. 2 Adjustable Wrenches; Small selection of differing sized adjustable wrenches, includes Black & Decker, Pittsburg, Crescent and Truecraft. 3 Screwdrivers; Small but nice lot of varying types and sizes of screwdrivers also small pry bar is included 4 Combination Wrenches; Large lot of several combination wrenches, varying sizes and brands. 5 Punches & Chisels; Small lot of differing metal chisels and punches. Several are Buffalo brand 6 Pipe Threader Older but complete pipe threaded, does have three dyes that are included. Armstrong Bridgeport Brand 7 Reel Trouble Lights; Two reel type trouble lights, these do work as they should. 8 Pliers & ViceGrips; Nice lot of several pliers and Vice Grips. Varying types, kinds and sizes 9 Bolt Cutters; Good set of Pittsburg brand bolt cutters, are good and jaws have no breaks, approx 36" 10 Hand Saws; This lot features two larger hand saws along with a smaller trimming saw, no names were found 11 Carpenter Tools; This lot will get you started in the building business! Comes with a flaring tool, pipe cutter and more. 53 Fence Stretcher Older Star fence stretcher, appears to be complete with bars, chains and all. 54 Car Ramps A good set of metal car ramps, have some age but still appear to be good and useable. 55 ExMark Turf Ranger 1800 Front Deck Mower Exmark out front deck mower, commercial grade, 60" deck, Kohler engine, good tires, runs and was used this past season, extra belts, 1579 engine hrs., Turf Ranger 1800 56 Chains & Binder Several chains are included in this lot. Most are pieces and missing ends. There is a set of tire chains in group along with a nice binder. 57 Stools Vintage step stool and can be used as a sitting stool also comes with a metal back chair that is stool height. 58 Ford V8 Hub Caps Vintage Ford hub caps with V8 logo on each. They are two different and do have some damage. 59 Saw Horses Set of wooden saw horses, older, have been used but still a good sturdy pair. 60 Lawn Roller Metal lawn roller, appears to be in good condition, does not appear to have any holes or leaks, hitch is good and measures 36" wide 61 Wheel Barrow Metal wheel barrow, good tire and bottom. Rolls well and solid. 62 Parker Lawn Sweep Older but still good and functioning Parker Lawn Sweep. Cloth is still good and brushes, rolls and appears to work as it should. 63 Scott's Metal Lawn Spreader This is an older all metal Scott's lawn spreader. It is froze up but just appears to be roller at bottom. Box is still solid would be great for parts or trying to free up 64 Greyhound Wagon Metal Greyhound brand "little red wagon". Does have mismatched wheels, solid wagon, measures 34" long & 16" wide, does have small hole in bottom 65 Hand Water Pump Vintage hand water pump, is free and works up and down, is marked and manufactured in Salem, OH 66 Hand Tire Pumps This lot features 2 hand tire pumps, one is foot operated and other is hand, both appear to work 67 "Little Red Wagon" A small all metal wagon, this is solid and rolls. Not able to read the markings, wheels are mismatched and have damage along with handle. 68 Garden Cultivator A hand garden cultivator, this has a set of blades it the front for cutting then shovels or tangs in the back for digging. No name but does roll and move as it should. 69 Bicycles Set of bicycles, two are ten speeds, other is just single speed. All appear to be useable. 70 Long Handled Tools This is a shovel and spade type digger. These have extremely long handles (measuring 120" and 127" long) these are believed to have come from the electrical company, both are good and solid 71 Wooden Ladders A set of two wooden step ladders, they both are functioning and work as they should (see pictures for measurements) 72 Hotpoint Electric Dryer Front load older Hotpoint electric clothes dryer. Did work when taken out of the house. Washer when bad and a new matching set was purchased. Does come with dryer plug. 73 Rope Length of rope, two different sizes, all appears to be good 74 Kenmore Water Softener Kenmore water softener, this had come out of one of Mr. Whittkampers rental properties. Was told that it did work when it was taken out of the house. Some repair parts are with this unit. 75 Aluminum Extension Ladder A two piece aluminum extension ladder, appears to be solid and work as it should, measures 120" on each piece, calling it an 18' 76 RCA Console Stereo & Record Player Mid Century Modern RCA console stereo & record player, unsure of condition, looks good, cabinet is in useable shape. 77 Mid Century Modern Square Table This is a mid century modern square table, it is complete and disassembled, may need some hardware. In fair condition, marked Universal Wood Crafters LaPorte, IN 78 Scales & Scoops Two sets of scales come with this lot, One is a small platform type scales along with a small hanging set, bot are in fair condition but do seem to work. Scoops are aluminum and plastic. 79 Nelson Canteen No. 88 Pig Creep Feeder A Nelson brand No 88 creep pig feeder, is galvanized metal and is in good condition, embossed with a pig with a crown logo 80 Vintage Metal Hand Sprayers Vintage metal hand sprayers, have not been tested but do have wands appear to be solid with no leaks or holes. 81 Terra Products Mini Trail Bike A mini trail bike, has been sitting for some time. Appears to need some repairs, tires look good, has a new seat that comes with the bike as well. Centrical clutch, adjustable handle bars, made by Terra Products, model 1100, chain drive, currently ... 82 Echo SRM200DA String Trimmer Older Echo string trimmer, was told by the family that it does run, model SRM200DA 83 Wooden Spool & Cable Nice length of woven cable, appears to be good, does have some surface rust, large wooden spool is included. Small wench is with lot as well. 84 Vintage Wooden Water Skis Here are two sets of vintage wooden water skis, both appear to be the same style. Unsure of manufacturer 85 Chrome Nerf Bars A small set of nerf bars for ATV, chrome finish appear good, unsure of what model they fit. (measurements are in pictures) 86 Large Bug Zapper Large sized bug zapper, does appear to work, light did come on when plugged in and started. Measures approx 26" tall, Bug Way model B-30 87 Hand Oil Pump Older hand oil pump, does move freely and appears to work, comes with barrel of oil, Unico 88 Garden Hose Nice length of garden hose, comes with spray wand and squirt nozzle. 89 Block & Tackle Small set of vintage block and tackle. Appears good but has not been tested. 90 Wooden Crates 4 vintage wooden crates, again these came from the can company that Mr. Whittkamper worked at. No markings a couple do have some damage to the bottoms 91 Wooden Crates Same as lot 90 with an extra smaller crate. 92 John Deere 110 Lawn Tractor This is a John Deere 110 lawn tractor, has cleated back tires, good straight metal, some damage to the front hood and grill, come with 48" deck, unsure of condition, did run in last few years but has been sitting. 93 John Deere Rear Mount Roto-Tiller John Deere remount roto-tiller, was used on the John Deere 110, looks complete, tines in fair condition, model: 311 serial number: 113852N, measures 32" wide 94 John Deere Front Blade John Deere front blade for snow removal or small dozing jobs, cutting edge appears to be fair, was used on John Deere 110, Model: E069 Serial Number: 125960, measures 42" Wide 95 Jackson Lawn Trailer No. 3 Jackson lawn trailer, appears good, has good floor, tries are good, does tilt, measures 48" L x 32" W 96 Echo String Trimmer Newer and very nice Echo brand string trimmer, gas powered, SRM-210 model, did run and was used this spring and summer, straight shaft 98 Polan Pro Hedge Trimmer Nice Polan Pro hedge trimmer, does run and was used this spring, has cover for blades, gas powered 99 Ithaco Model 731 Scanprobe This is an Ithaco brand Scaprobe ultrasound detection device for swine (pigs). Also with lot is a Van N... 102 Air Compressor 110v small electric air compressor, does work, doe not have hose, just bidding on a compressor, 3/4hp motor 103 Air Tank Portable air tank by MVP, 5 gallon capacity, no holes and works as it should. 104 Long Handled Tools Small lot of several long handled tools, comes with rakes, sledge hammer, spud bar and more 105 Long Handled Tools Another lot of several long handled tools, this lot features broom, ax, weed cutters, rakes and more 106 Richie Brand Automatic Waterer This is an older Ritchie brand automatic waterer, appears to be complete and was working when taken out. 108 Milk Can This is a vintage milk can. It is marked Dexter Dairy Detroit, MI, appears to be good and good bottom, lid will come off. 109 Milk Can Vintage milk can, has 12 painted in red on it, marking on handle, bottom appear good but lid will not come off on this lot 110 Glass Stove Gas Jar This is a vintage gas can or jar from a gas cook stove, in great shape, there are markings on bottom, has handle and float for flow control 111 Wooden Crates 8 Wooden boxes or crates some do have some damage. 112 Baby Crib Older baby crib, appears to be complete, springs and rails all appear to be good 113 Wooden Window Shutter This is a set of vented or louvered window shutter, appears good and solid 114 Chicken Feeder Long metal chicken feeder, has good bottom, appear two dividers are missing 115 Vintage Interior Door Smaller vintage wooden interior door, has porcelain door knob. 116 Windows Window with frames, one window does have a set of weights with it 117 Vintage Glass Window Vintage glass window, sections, missing three panes 118 Bushel Baskets & Barrels Here for all your storage needs, this lot features several bushel baskets along with the paper barrels that all appear to be in good condition, also come with some lids for barrels 119 Light Fixtures Covers Here are two industrial light fixtures covers or pole light type fixture covers. Globe style glass 120 Antique Wooden Baby Cradle This is an antique homemade wooden baby cradle from the early 20th century. I was told that this was Mr. Whittkamper's when he was just born 121 Wire Fence Edging A length of wire edging for landscape. 122 Metal Chairs A set of four metal chairs, appear to be from the 1950's, all are solid but need to be refinished. 123 National Radio Wooden Cabinet This is a radio cabinet from the National Radio Company, does have tag 124 Trunk Military style foot locker or trunk, has been painted and appears to be solid.
