Join us for Thomaston Place Auction Galleries’ Unreserved Fall Coin Auction on Friday, October 23 starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Rockland Elks Lodge, 210 Rankin St., Rockland, ME. Over 525 lots of coins, paper currency and commemoratives gathered from private collections and local hoards will be sold – with something for everyone, from the casual hobbyist to the serious collector. All lots can be viewed at https://live.thomastonauction.com/. Live, absentee, telephone, and internet bids (via ThomastonLive and LiveAuctioneers) will be accepted. Buyer's premium for live and phone/in-house absentee bidding is 17%. Buyer's premium for online bidding (including absentee bids left online) is 20%. Maine State Sales Tax will also be charged when applicable. Seating at the auction will be limited to 50 guests, so reservations are strongly recommended. Please call 1-207-354-8141 for more information or to reserve a seat. We will be practicing the State mandated regulations regarding Covid-19, so masks will be required. Previewing will be by appointment only at the Elks Lodge on Thursday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Preview appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance by calling 1-207-354-8141.
