CITY AND COUNTY OF DENVER - DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES Sale of Unclaimed Bicycles – Denver Police Bicycle Bureau 1930 35th St. Denver, CO 80216 (35th St. & Arkins Ct.) All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE express or implied. A $5.00 minimum bid is required. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. Please visit www.denvergov.org/auctions for a listing of the bicycles that will be offered for sale. Terms are CASH-IN-HAND, CERTIFIED FUNDS (Verifiable Cashier's Check), or Master Card/Discover/Visa (with a 3.5% user fee for charge cards) due IMMEDIATELY after sale. (You may make full payment and leave with your purchase at any time during the sale.) No personal or company checks without an Irrevocable Letter of Credit approved by the auctioneer prior to the sale. Removal deadline is immediately following the sale, after you have paid in full. The bicycles offered for sale come into the hands of the Denver Police Department for any number of reasons. The City is required to store the bicycles for a period of thirty (30) days to allow rightful owners to establish their claim to the bikes. If no rightful owner (or insurance carrier) makes claim to a bike, it becomes by ordinance City property. Registration of bicycles is not required in the City and County of Denver. However, the Denver Police Department Bicycle Bureau maintains a voluntary registration program. Every bicycle purchased at this auction will be entered into the registration data base. If you have other bicycles you wish to register, please contact the Denver Police Bicycle Bureau at 720-865-0090.
