KEN LINDSAY CERTIFIED FUNDRAISING AUCTIONEERS is pleased to be retained as the professional auction consultant and auctioneer for the longstanding and popular benefit auction event for Judson Center that will be held at the historic Oakland Hills Golf Course on October 6, 2012.

Judson Center started out in 1924 as the Baptist Children's Home overseeing the emotional, physical and spiritual growth of just a few children. Since then, the agency has evolved into a comprehensive, multi-faceted, community based human service center - one that has been nationally recognized for fostering independence through innovative programs, and for empowering children of all ages and their families to live the best lives possible.


Today, Judson Center provides more than 400,000 personalized support services each year that emphasize community and promote individual and family ability to encourage personal growth and foster independence. These services include autism services, behavioral health services, child welfare services and disability services. 


Course Power


Founded in 1916, Oakland Hills Country Club has, and will continue to play a significant role in the history of golf in the United States. Walter Hagen, five time PGA Champion, was the club's first head professional. The South Course has played host to 16 Major Championships including: six U.S. Opens; two U.S. Senior Opens; U.S. Women’s Amateur; U.S. Men’s Amateur; Western Open; the Carling World Open; the 35th Ryder Cup in 2004; and three PGA Championships -- including the 90th PGA Championship in 2008. Some of the greatest players ever to play the game including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, and Ben Hogan have competed and won on the famed South Course, also known as "The Monster". The membership is proud of the heritage of their club and consider themselves stewards of a national golf treasure
