Ann Arbor Trout Unlimited Annual Fundraising Banquet April 1, 2010 Ann Arbor Chapter of Trout Unlimited is a 501 c 3, nonprofit organization whose mission is to conserve, protect and restore Michigan fisheries and their watersheds. I addition to fishing together, we actively advocate for environmentally conscious public policies, and practice "hands on" river habitat restoration. We also provide monetary support for river restoration projects, fellowships for graduate work and education of young environmentalists as we work to preserve and enhance the quality of fisheries throughout the state. In the past year we supported: Huron River Watershed Council Physh Ed Youth Fishing Class Casting For Recovery (Women's Cancer Survivor Camp) Rifle River Bank Restorations Au Sable River Cleanup Spring Fly-casting Workshop Michigan TU Executive Fund Support to other TU Chapters Fighting for Conservation Causes On April 1, 2010, we will hold our annual fundraising banquet to raise support for similar projects again next year. The banquet, at Barton Hills Country Club, from 6:00pm until we are done, will offer guided trips, rods, fishing equipment and lots of other exciting prizes. Brian will again do the Live Auction, there will also be a silent auction, bucket raffles and more. Tickets, including dinner and two drinks are $95.00 each. Obtain tickets at Colton Bay Outfitters, 4844 Jackson Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103 (734-222-9776.
