David will be competing in San Diego, California in the International Auctioneer Championships.

OVERLAND PARK , KAN - If you cannot be at NAA's 58th International Conference and Show in person to see the International Auctioneers Championship on Friday, July 20 in San Diego, CA, you can still watch your favorite Auctioneers compete live on the Internet.

The contest will be broadcast in video and audio live on www.NAALIVE.com. To watch is as simple as going to that website and clicking through a few windows (exact steps are given below). And, you can bid on the great offering of items and especially support your favorite contestants!

The IAC preliminaries begin at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time Zone. Finalists in both divisions will be announced at approximately 4 p.m. and the final championship showdown will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Pacific Time Zone. The champions will be announced about 10 p.m. To view a complete list of IAC competitors, go to www.auctioneers.org. The new International Junior Auctioneer Championship (IJAC) finals will precede the IAC preliminaries. Tune in at 9 a.m. to see the top three Juniors compete.

HERE ARE THE STEPS to watch and hear the contest live:

  • Go to www.NAALIVE.com. Look on the homepage for the box that says "IJAC", "IAC Preliminaries" (and then later the IAC Finals".
  • Within that box, click on the button that says "LIVE NOW," then a new window will appear with the question "Which screen size do you want? Small or large?"
  • Click the one you want. A new window will appear and ask if you want to be a "watcher" or want to log in as a bidder.
  • To watch, click "watcher" and then a live video screen will appear on your screen and the audio will be present by turning on (and up) the speakers on your computer system. You're all set to enjoy!

This is a premier entertainment and educational event for anyone in the auction industry. It is so easy to access that there's no reason to miss it.
