5 Signed Coach Napier Black University of Florida Football Jerseys: History on Jerseys: November 4, 2023 the University of Florida Gators wore black uniforms in a game versus Arkansas. The purpose was Saluting Those Who Serve. It was to honor the men and women who serve in the military and are first responders. Instead of the players' name on the back of the jerseys, there were five different words used to define each branch of the military and first responders. Army = Integrity; Navy = Honor; Air Force = Excellence; Marine Corps = Commitment; First Responders = Courage. Coach Napier purchased five of the game day jerseys and these five jerseys will go to auction on May 25, 2024 and the proceeds will be donated to the Fisher House. The Fisher House allows veterans and their families to stay when in time of need due to medical issues. There is a COA for each jersey validating the signing by Coach Napier.
