1994 EMD F59 PH Locomotive

 

This Locomotive has been disabled in 2020 as part of a government grant covenant by plasma cutting holes in the block of the main drive engine and the HEP engine or by fully removing these engines. Research is based on a hybrid of the sum of the parts still in operational order and the overall scrap value (260,000 lb). It is assumed that all parts were operational until decommission in 2020.

 

Main: EMD 12-710G3B-EC/94H1-1038/ 12 Cylinder HEP: CAT C27/TWM01735

 

Details:

 

 - The engine still has power assemblies/cylinders and the upper portion of the engine intact.

 - It is assumed that all parts were operational until decommission in 2020.

 - All PTC Components Removed.

 - All ATS Components Removed.

 - Some Minor Parts Removed (Lights / Gauges)

 - Traction Motors: 4

 - Wheel Sets: 4

 - Fuel Tank: 1

 - Cooling Fans / Grid Blowers: 4

 - Aux Equipment Rack: Intact

 - Alternator: Intact

 - Turbo: Intact

 - Generator / Compressor: Intact

 - Weight: 260,000 lb
