This impressive dollhouse stands over five feet tall and is meticulously crafted with every detail in mind. From the intricate woodwork to the hand-placed wallpaper, this dollhouse is a true work of art -- and was commissioned as such around 1986 for a purported $6,000.

The original owner purchased a plethora of tiny pieces to make the house a home, from tavern tables to miniature crystal chandeliers, almost $4,000 worth of pieces from the time of purchase in 1986 through 1987. The current owner donated the piece to the museum to raise funds for the Fairfield Museum’s community education programs.

This dollhouse can become a cherished heirloom for any family, or the perfect addition to any dollhouse collection. It is also a unique opportunity to support the Fairfield Museum, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of Fairfield, Connecticut.
