Rare 1943 Printers Proof of the Alberto Vargas (1896-1982) illustrated movie poster "DuBarry Was a Lady", a proof before the movie poster text was overlayed.  15 1/4" x 23 1/2" in a 1930's gilt frame 27 1/2" x 37 1/2".  Cond:  Slight toning across the top edge, frame has some corner nicks and was repainted.   Est. $300-500. NOTE: This is the last of 5 that were found!

After John William Waterhouse (UK, 1849-1916) "Hylas and the Nymphs", C/1910 oil on canvas on wood panel, depicts water nymphs seducing a young man, 16" x 20" w. in a gilt wood frame 26" x 22" h.  Signed indiscernibly in lower left. Originally painted in 1896. Cond: Varnish is darkening and needs cleaning, frame shows minor wear.   Est. $150 - 250.

Antique Walnut Banjo-Lyre Clock (This is a faithful copy of a 1830's Elmer Stennis Banjo-Lyre Clock) with floral & scroll carving over reverse painted glass panel, wreath carving around a Roman numeral dial, 8 day time and strike movement.  Early brass "swept wings" Eagle finial, 41 1/2" tall x 12 1/2" wide x 6" deep.  Cond:  Movement runs briefly. Royal Yacht No. 2 Uniform (H.M.Y. Britannia), pants, shirt and jacket, size approx. Medium. The uniform has a Navigator's Yeoman’s Sleeve Patch and Able Seaman Radar Patch. Documents included indicate the Uniform was worn by Mr. Stuart Arden of the Royal Navy. It was worn for 5 years until 1997 when Hong Kong was returned to China (The Royal Yacht was in port). It was purchased Nov. 13, 2003 directly from the Seaman by Captain Steven Welch of the Soo Locks in the UP.  Condition: No damage found.  (Includes a Vintage Mannequin form on oak stand)    Est. $100 - $200.

Royal Yacht No. 2 Uniform (H.M.Y. Britannia), pants, shirt and jacket, size approx. Medium. The uniform has a Navigator's Yeoman’s Sleeve Patch and Able Seaman Radar Patch. Documents included indicate the Uniform was worn by Mr. Stuart Arden of the Royal Navy. It was worn for 5 years until 1997 when Hong Kong was returned to China (The Royal Yacht was in port). It was purchased Nov. 13, 2003 directly from the Seaman by Captain Steven Welch of the Soo Locks in the UP.  Condition: No damage found.  (Includes a Vintage Mannequin form on oak stand)    Est. $100 - $200.

Royal Yacht No. 2 Uniform (H.M.Y. Britannia), pants, shirt and jacket, size approx. Medium. The uniform has a Navigator's Yeoman’s Sleeve Patch and Able Seaman Radar Patch. Documents included indicate the Uniform was worn by Mr. Stuart Arden of the Royal Navy. It was worn for 5 years until 1997 when Hong Kong was returned to China (The Royal Yacht was in port). It was purchased Nov. 13, 2003 directly from the Seaman by Captain Steven Welch of the Soo Locks in the UP.  Condition: No damage found.  (Includes a Vintage Mannequin form on oak stand)    Est. $100 - $200.
