A lifetime collector of antiques is selling this good representation of primitives and more. Furniture includes a 1860’s cherry sideboard, 11 foot harvest table, an 1867 signed cherry dresser mirror, plank seat chairs, stools, several desks, a primitive corner cupboard and pie safes in original surfaces. A large baker’s cabinet and oak counter top display case contains many smalls. Several tables, stands, benches, children’s furniture, as well as two rope beds, a mantle clock and oak time clock are also part of the collection.
Architectural items; grain painted doors, barn doors, windows, columns, posts, corbels and many 2-sided signs including a large King Edwards Cigar advertisement. Paintings, pictures, drawings and miscellaneous frames primarily date from the early 20th century as well as a portfolio of drawings by Yale graduate students dated 1928. Textiles comprise an 1858 coverlet, several quilts and a wool plaid throw. Many more items such as blue and white enamelware, baskets, carnival items, bottles, outsider art, sleds, snowshoes, cast iron pieces, mirrors, lighting and items too numerous to mention.
