BUYER'S PREMIUM / SALES TAX - The 23% Buyer’s Premium will be added to each successful bid. - All PA residents and all bidders who pick up their merchandise in-person are required to pay the PA state sales tax of 6% at the time of pickup, unless they have a valid tax exemption number. If exempt, you must present us with a valid tax exemption number, and complete our exemption form. - All out of state bidders are required to pay any applicable sales tax for the state to which their items will be shipped, unless they present a valid tax exemption license. PAYMENT - Full payment for all merchandise is required within fourteen (14) days of the auction. - For U.S. Bidders: Briggs Auction will charge the credit card on file in your account immediately following the auction, and a paid receipt will be emailed to you. - Special Note: Any payment over $5,000 must be made by Wire Transfer only. After 30 days, a $5/day storage fee will be applied. - November 3 is the last day to pick up items or have shipping arranged before storage fees. - Any item not been removed from Briggs Auction after 90 days will be deemed abandoned, and will become property of Briggs Auction, Inc. - No item may be removed or will be shipped until full payment of merchandise and/or storage fees has been made< Merchandise Pickup: - Monday-Friday by appointment only - Saturdays from 9AM-3PM with no appointment needed. - Buyers are responsible for packing smaller items; please ensure that you have your own packing materials and equipment needed to collect your items.
