This is an Estate Auction of the personal property of a retired Air Force Colonel and his wife of over 70 years. As a pilot, his overseas travels resulted in some of the unique oriental furnishings in the home. After retirement, the couple returned to their native North Carolina In the early 1960's. They lived on a small farm where the husband raised cattle and enjoyed gardening. The wife loved antiques and the antiques in the home are ones that she refinished. She also was an accomplished seamstress. They were active members of their church and did volunteer work in the community. |
