A NEOLITHIC BANSHAN STYLE FUNERARY URN This urn was authenticated by Phyllis Hsia of Oxford Authentication (South East Asia) on April 22, 2005. Carbon dating places the last firing of the urn to have occurred between 3300 and 5100 years ago. This, coupled with the “Banshan” style of the jar, suggests a creation date between ca. 2650-2350 B.C. This Neolithic Period urn is a museum quality piece and will make an excellent addition to ANY home.
