The bidder agrees that a late fee of two percent (2 %) of the outstanding balance per month will to be added to any unpaid balance due Barnard Auctions. All the furniture is located on the ground floor level or the garage for easy pickup. Barnard Auctions will ship items at winning bidder's expense that are Small enough to be shipped via USPS, Priority Mail, Flat Rate Boxes, UPS Ground, or Fed Ex Ground. Items must be paid for by pickup day. Fragile items, items that weigh over 25 lbs. or items that will not fit in 16 �" x 14 �" x 12" box will need to be picked up, or shipping can be done by a Professional Shipper/Packer at Bidder's Expense. If using a Professional Shipper/Packer, buyer must notify the auction company. Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. Listing Information
Quality Antiques-Primitives & Collectibles from Larry Williams Living Estate. Larry and the Late Sandra Williams, spend a lifetime collecting primitive antiques and collectibles in their country home just outside of Fairfield, Illinois. The home was built by the McLin family of Wayne County in 1850 on land which was part of a 100 acre federal land grant. The McLin family brought the Cumberland Presbyterian Church into Southern Illinois. The late Howard and Mary Weber Porter acquired the stately home in 1948 from the McLin Estate and brought it into the 20th Century. The Porters were well known collectors of primitive antiques. The Williams family purchased the home in1972 and lovingly curated the home along with their collection since 1972. Furnished with quality antique furniture, household furnishing, and unusual primitives, lg. commerical butcher block on 4 legs, pie safe, flour/sugar bin, rolling pin collection, and 1991 Cadillac Eldorado, 2-Door, Gold Package, w/only 73,993 miles, 1859 Steinway & Sons Square Grand Piano restored to museum quality. Additional Kohler & Campbell antique Upright Piano, Barber Chair, like-new modern lift chairand so much more. Larry owned and operated the Williams US Clothing Store in Fairfield, IL., for many years, plus worked Farm Bureau-Country Companies for many years in the Drivers Education Safety Training department.
