The terms of sale are non-negotiable. Registering to bid either live, online or absentee signifies your acceptance of the terms. Your bid is a binding agreement. Do not place a bid unless you intend to honor it.
Inspection: All items are located at Heritage, 6877 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville AL 35173. Inspection is 10am-6pm Fri July 7th. You are advised to inspect items BEFORE bidding. We do our best to describe and photograph items, but we are by no means perfect and may miss something that is important to you. If the item was tested, it will say so in the description - time does not allow for testing of all items. All Sales Are Final With No Refunds/Returns/Exchanges.
General: 'AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS'. All Sales Are Final With No Refunds/Returns/Exchanges. Full Payment due at end of auction. 6% area sales tax collected (Alabama State, Jefferson County). Dealers present your resale certificate to avoid sales tax. All times stated are Central. Bid retraction will result in suspension of bidding privileges. No international bidders accepted without prior approval from Heritage.
Removal: Buyers are responsible for removal of purchases from auction site. Buyers must provide their own moving equipment and personnel. Appointments are recommended for pickup and are available 2pm-6pm Wed July 12th, 9am-6pm Thurs-Fri July 13th-14th AND 10am-2pm Sat July 15th. NO ALTERNATIVE DATES/TIMES are available. If you do not have an appointment, the facility may not be open. All items are located at and must be picked up from Heritage, 6877 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville AL 35173. Each item left past this deadline will be considered abandoned and will be immediately resold with no notice or credit given to you. You must present a printed copy of your PAID receipt to pick up items (PAID receipt available at front office). Forklift driver is available. The link to sign up for a pickup date/time will be sent after the auction is completely over. If you miss your pickup appointment, your credit card on file will be charged.
Forms of Payment: All items must be paid for at Heritage, 6877 Gadsden Hwy, Trussville AL 35173. (A) CASH/CERTIFIED FUNDS must be received by Saturday July 15th at 2pm. (B) VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS accepted in person up to $5000. Card must be present and in users name. Bidder waives their right to initiate a charge-back on their credit card for any reason. In the event of large internet credit purchases of $500 or more and to reduce credit card fraud, Heritage will require copies of the Bidder's driver's license and credit card front and back. Credit cards are not accepted in the case of purchases of $3000 or more that is to be shipped or on items that are to be titled outside of Alabama - wire transfers are the preferred method of payment in these instances. (C) WIRE TRANSFERS must be received by Friday July 14th at 5pm. (D) No PERSONAL/COMPANY CHECKS accepted for this auction. (E) If you miss your pickup appointment, your credit card on file will be charged. (F) All payments accepted after the removal deadlines must be in the form of cash or wire transfer.
ONLINE Buyer's Premium & Convenience Fee: For all ONLINE bidders, a 10% internet premium will be added to all items, with an additional 3.5% conveience fee for use of credit/debit card.
Firearms/Firearms Shipping: Buyers are responsible for knowing the rules and regulations of the state in which they live pertaining to the ownership of firearms. ALL SALES ARE FINAL! If a firearm is purchased and the background check is deny or the firearm cannot be shipped to the buyer's state, the buyer is still responsible for payment of said firearm and the firearm can be sold at our next scheduled firearm auction and under normal contract. Descriptions are based on a visual inspection of the item. We have made no examination of any internal mechanical workings or firing mechanisms. You should have your firearms inspected and serviced by a qualified gunsmith. Firearms must be pickup up in person (pistol/revolver pickup available only to AL residents) or shipped to the FFL Licensee of the buyer's choice. All shipping and insurance will be charged to the buyer and will be at the carrier's published rates plus up to $5 per box (up to $9 per long gun box) for packing supplies. No firearm will be shipped until a signed copy of the appropriate FFL license is emailed or faxed to Heritage Realty & Auction Co Inc. The email to use is info@heritagesales.com and the fax number is 205.661.0800. Any cost of transfer charged by the buyer's FFL licensee will be the responsibility of the buyer. Some states will not allow you to own certain firearms so please check with your state to see which firearms or firearms features are not allowed BEFORE bidding.
Ammo/Powder/Primer: PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING AMMUNITION THAT IT IS HEAVY AND THAT THE SHIPPING MAY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE. Due to some carriers' shipping restrictions, shipping for ammo/powder/primer is only available through FedEx/UPS. AK and HI will not allow us to ship ammo/powder/primers.
Shipping: Is available on most small items that can be shipped by USPS or UPS/FedEx Ground. No shipping quotes are given prior to the auction. Shipping will be at the carrier's published rates plus insurance plus up to $5 per box, up to $9 per long gun box, for packing supplies. Whenever reasonably possible, we will combine shipping and use the most economical shipping method. If you prefer to use your own shipper account, you may email us the labels - please request the box weight and dimensions before ordering your labels, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING ITEMS THAT ARE HEAVY, OVERSIZED OR ODD SHAPED, THAT THE SHIPPING & HANDLING MAY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE. Note that just because we CAN ship an item, doesn't mean that the cost to ship will be feasible. Heritage is not responsible for breakage or loss during shipping. If you want coverage, you must purchase insurance at the time of shipping. All claims must be taken up with the carrier. *** NOTES ON FREIGHT SHIPPING: You may arrange for your own freight shipping and we will coordinate with them. If your item requires a pallet, you will be charged for the cost of the pallet.
