Auction Terms & Conditions By bidding on any lot offered for sale in this online public auction, any/all bidders agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Bidders are approved for online bidding, upon registration, based on the information provided by HiBid as well as a buyer's previous record. The auction company has the sole discretion to approve or deny any bidders. 2. All items are sold "As-Is". All information contained in descriptions is believed to be accurate; however, no information provided is guaranteed. The auction company, or staff, shall not be responsible for any inaccuracies. Preview and Inspection, prior to bidding, is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. The bidder assumes all risks related to the grade, quality, appearance, condition, history, and origin of any lot. 3. Bidder's acknowledge there is a 20% Buyers Premium which will be added to all winning bids, and will be payable by the winning bidder as part of the total cost. 4. All Sales are subject to the 6.35% CT Sales Tax. 5. All items MUST be paid for, in full, no later than the day after the auction ends. Upon failure to pay, the auction company reserves the right to void any unpaid invoices, and to ban the unpaid bidder from future auctions. Payments will be processed directly through HiBid unless specified otherwise. Auctioneer reserves the right to require certified funds. 6. All sales are final. Lots may not be returned / refunded for ANY reason. The auction company assumes no responsibility for any items once sold. 7. All items are shipped within 5 business days, once full payment has been received by the auction house. 7a. Each Lot will be shuped and include a $5 handling fee plus the actual shipping cost per lot won. WE COMBINE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE LOTS WON. So, 1 lot/item includes a $5 handling fee. And, 2 or more lots/items won will be bundled and just include a total handling fee of $5. The reason we charge the same $5 handling fee, whether its for 1 lot, or for multiple lots, is because we dont believe in making money off of shipping, So the cost per box, packing supplies, etc, is generally the same cost for us whether its 1 item or several items and we pass this savings on to you, 8 -A bid by any person shall be conclusive proof that the person has made themselves acquainted with these conditions of sale. The person has examined the items to their satisfaction, or has chosen not to personally examine items and has agreed to be bound by the said conditions 9. Olde Tyme Auctions reserves the right to reject any bid at our sole discretion. 10. Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any item/lot before or during the sale. 11. Neither Auctioneer nor Consignor shall be liable for any personal injury on the premises where sale shall be held 12. We reserve the right to cancel and / or reopen the auction in the case of a system failure. 13. Olde Tyme Auctions Weekly 5-Day Sports Card Auction Most of our auctions are graded cards and complete sets, but we have such a large inventory of ungraded/raw sports cards, that we thought we would start adding them to our weekly auctions. Most of our set break ungraded cards you can buy elsewhere, on the bigger sites, for anywhere from 99 cents up to $100 or more per card. While, most of our sports card breaks, the cards start at 25-50 cents per card. And, our lots that contain 8, 10, 12, 15, 20 cards.or more usually start at an average of 25 cents per card and go up from there. Some cards are in mint/near Mint condition and others are in lesser condition so be sure to look at the pics to accurately see the cards, or cards, you are bidding on. We have millions of cards and simply dont have a big enough staff to have the itme to look at each card and lot. So, there is a great chance for many buyers to find mint. near mint, excellent cards, that are overlooked, for great prices. We have nothing to hide and want everyone to be happy. So, if you have a question, or need an additional picture on a specific card, just email us and we will provide more pics, and answer any questions. Our consignors just dont have the time to list their big collections, and cards individually, or ship them, card by card, on the larger sites, so they come to auctions houses like ours to make the process easierr for them. Even though that almost always means they get less than each card is worth. But for them its the most convenient way for them to sell their large card collections. You, the buyer, will often get cards for half the price, to resell for a profit, or for your own collection, and our cosignors get a price they are happy with, while leaving all the work up to us. The more lots you buy the more you save on shipping and handling.
