Listing Terms and Conditions
FORMAT: Online ONLY. PAYMENT: Payment by cash, credit card (up to $400.00 including shipping), cashier's check, USPS money order or bank wire. Cashier's check must be from a financial institution based in the United States and for the exact invoice amount due. Any purchase of $1,000 or greater must be paid in cash, cashier's check or USPS money order for the full invoice amount including shipping and insurance. Credit card payment will not be accepted for these amounts. Auction company reserves the right to demand payment in the form of cash or bank wire. It is customary and normal for requiring cash or bank wire for new clients and for invoices totaling over $1,000. Bidder agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a charge back on his/her credit card. Credit cards may be automatically charged at end of auction. Shipping fees will be charged to the same card in a separate transaction. Wisconsin 5.0 % sales tax applies to price of merchandise as well as shipping charges. Order will be processed and shipped once payment clears. Depending on the form of payment, this may take up to 7-10 business days. By registering, bidder agrees if payment is not received within the required time frame (10 business days), your order will be cancelled, and a non-refundable 10% fee (+4% processing fee) will be charged to the credit card on file. Invoices under $400.00: Auctioneer reserves the right to charge your credit card at the drop of the hammer. Once charges go through you will receive another email with pick up location and instructions. Please be sure to sign up for a pick up time for Oshkosh pick ups or reply to our email if shipping is requested. Invoices $400.00 or over: Will need to be paid by cash, cashier's check, USPS money order or bank wire PRIOR to pick up. Pick up customers - we highly recommend paying in cash to avoid delays with other payment methods. Shipping customers - items will be shipped upon receipt of cash from cashier's check, USPS money order or bank wire. Items will NOT be shipped until these forms of payment clear. CURRENCY TYPE: USD BUYERS FEE: 10% buyers fee plus 4% for credit card processing fee when credit card is used. SALES TAX: Wisconsin Sales Tax will be applied to all purchases from Bidders registered with a Wisconsin address. Bidders who register with an address from outside of Wisconsin are responsible for reporting any sales tax due to their own state and/or municipality. Bid City Auction Company does not accept the burden or responsibility of reporting to other states or municipalities. If it is later determined by a government authority that Bid City Auction Company, LLC is responsible for sales tax on purchase and Bid City Auction Company does not collect it at the time of the initial payment of the invoice, Bid City Auction Company, LLC reserves the right to collect any and all sales tax monies owed to other states or municipalities at a future date and Bidder agrees in advance to this policy. There are no exceptions to this policy. BIDDING: Bid City Auction Company, LLC at its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, or any bidder. The Auctioneer and auction company staff reserve the right to bid. Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and hereby grants sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Bidder agrees that the liability of Bid City Auction Company, LLC shall be limited to the purchase price of a lot. Bidder agrees and grants that service of process on them may be obtained by mailing a certified letter, containing a summons, postage prepaid, to them at the address they provided to register. Should a dispute arise between Bid City Auction Company, LLC and Bidder, Bidder waives any right to a trial or hearing in a court of law and agrees to settle the dispute through binding arbitration in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Bidder further agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a charge back on his/her credit card. SHIPPING/PICKUP: Winning bidder may pick items up by advance appointment in Oshkosh, Wisconsin or La Farge, Wisconsin. Pick-up arrangements must be made within one week of auction closing. Buyer may also choose to have items shipped. Items will only be shipped to the address that matches bidder's registration and credit card. Purchase price does NOT include shipping costs. Any items that we ship out will be packed and ship using our in-house shipping service. All coins and currency will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail and Bid City Auction Company reserves the right to require adult signature upon delivery. All shipping costs and shipping insurance costs will be charged to winning bidder's credit card. Any package that has an invoice amount over $400 will have shipping insurance. Additionally, Adult Signature Required services will be charged to Buyer and required for any packages over $400 value. The shipping insurance that we use is from a private carrier and covers the package while in transit. The insurance coverage is for loss but does not cover breakage or damage. For packages with an invoice total over $1,000.00, Bid City Auction Company, LLC reserves the right to send the package via Registered Mail with restricted delivery at the respective successful bidder's expense. Listing Information
Grandpa's Vault is filled with US coins, currency, foriegn currency, and a few banks. The loot includes Silver Dollars dating back as far as 1884, Half Dollars as early as 1893, and quarters as early as 1854. In addition there banks, some foreign currency, vintage dimes, nickels, Indianhead pennies, copper and steel wheat pennies, and paper currency including Confederate, Silver Certificates, and some consecutive serial bills. Pick up will be available in both Oshkosh, WI and La Farge, WI. Shipping is available on all items with successful advanced payment. Credit card payment will NOT be accept for invoices $400.00 and over. Accepted payment methods include cash, cashier's check, USPS money order and bank wire for invoice amounts over $1000.00.

FORMAT: Online ONLY. PAYMENT: Payment by cash, credit card (up to $400.00 including shipping), cashier's check, USPS money order or bank wire. Cashier's check must be from a financial institution based in the United States and for the exact invoice amount due. Any purchase of $1,000 or greater must be paid in cash, cashier's check or USPS money order for the full invoice amount including shipping and insurance. Credit card payment will not be accepted for these amounts. Auction company reserves the right to demand payment in the form of cash or bank wire. It is customary and normal for requiring cash or bank wire for new clients and for invoices totaling over $1,000. Bidder agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a charge back on his/her credit card. Credit cards may be automatically charged at end of auction. Shipping fees will be charged to the same card in a separate transaction. Wisconsin 5.0 % sales tax applies to price of merchandise as well as shipping charges. Order will be processed and shipped once payment clears. Depending on the form of payment, this may take up to 7-10 business days. By registering, bidder agrees if payment is not received within the required time frame (10 business days), your order will be cancelled, and a non-refundable 10% fee (+4% processing fee) will be charged to the credit card on file. Invoices under $400.00: Auctioneer reserves the right to charge your credit card at the drop of the hammer. Once charges go through you will receive another email with pick up location and instructions. Please be sure to sign up for a pick up time for Oshkosh pick ups or reply to our email if shipping is requested. Invoices $400.00 or over: Will need to be paid by cash, cashier's check, USPS money order or bank wire PRIOR to pick up. Pick up customers - we highly recommend paying in cash to avoid delays with other payment methods. Shipping customers - items will be shipped upon receipt of cash from cashier's check, USPS money order or bank wire. Items will NOT be shipped until these forms of payment clear. CURRENCY TYPE: USD BUYERS FEE: 10% buyers fee plus 4% for credit card processing fee when credit card is used. SALES TAX: Wisconsin Sales Tax will be applied to all purchases from Bidders registered with a Wisconsin address. Bidders who register with an address from outside of Wisconsin are responsible for reporting any sales tax due to their own state and/or municipality. Bid City Auction Company does not accept the burden or responsibility of reporting to other states or municipalities. If it is later determined by a government authority that Bid City Auction Company, LLC is responsible for sales tax on purchase and Bid City Auction Company does not collect it at the time of the initial payment of the invoice, Bid City Auction Company, LLC reserves the right to collect any and all sales tax monies owed to other states or municipalities at a future date and Bidder agrees in advance to this policy. There are no exceptions to this policy. BIDDING: Bid City Auction Company, LLC at its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, or any bidder. The Auctioneer and auction company staff reserve the right to bid. Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and hereby grants sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Bidder agrees that the liability of Bid City Auction Company, LLC shall be limited to the purchase price of a lot. Bidder agrees and grants that service of process on them may be obtained by mailing a certified letter, containing a summons, postage prepaid, to them at the address they provided to register. Should a dispute arise between Bid City Auction Company, LLC and Bidder, Bidder waives any right to a trial or hearing in a court of law and agrees to settle the dispute through binding arbitration in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Bidder further agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a charge back on his/her credit card. SHIPPING/PICKUP: Winning bidder may pick items up by advance appointment in Oshkosh, Wisconsin or La Farge, Wisconsin. Pick-up arrangements must be made within one week of auction closing. Buyer may also choose to have items shipped. Items will only be shipped to the address that matches bidder's registration and credit card. Purchase price does NOT include shipping costs. Any items that we ship out will be packed and ship using our in-house shipping service. All coins and currency will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail and Bid City Auction Company reserves the right to require adult signature upon delivery. All shipping costs and shipping insurance costs will be charged to winning bidder's credit card. Any package that has an invoice amount over $400 will have shipping insurance. Additionally, Adult Signature Required services will be charged to Buyer and required for any packages over $400 value. The shipping insurance that we use is from a private carrier and covers the package while in transit. The insurance coverage is for loss but does not cover breakage or damage. For packages with an invoice total over $1,000.00, Bid City Auction Company, LLC reserves the right to send the package via Registered Mail with restricted delivery at the respective successful bidder's expense. AS IS, WHERE IS: All items sold "as is, where is" with no warranty and with all faults. All sales are final. There are no warranties, expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise, as to the merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose of any goods offered in this sale. The items are available to the public for inspection prior to the start of the auction closing. Online inspection will happen through posted photos. Additional scheduled previews can be scheduled. Inspection must occur during those hours. Bidder inspection is encouraged. Bid City Auction Company LLC may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the internet, but makes no representations. In no event shall Bid City Auction Company LLC be held responsible for having made or implied a warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bid City Auction Company LLC will neither be held responsible for accidents, nor errors, deletions or omissions. No credit or adjustments will be allowed in any form or amount. The buyer relies exclusively on his/her pre-auction inspection and each lot is sold with all faults and defects therein. All descriptions are believed accurate, but not guaranteed. The buyer shall take full responsibility and assume all risk of said equipment and or items from the time the auction company accepts the final bid from the buyer. Please inspect before you bid and buy. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. FAILURE TO PICK UP ITEMS: Items that do not get picked up on the scheduled pick-up days become the sole property of Bid City Auction Company LLC & no refund will be given. Any other arrangements for shipping, transportation or physical pick-up must be made PRIOR to the sale ending. Please note these assets are sold only one time with non-retractable bids. Any item that is not picked up on the day designated will be forfeited with NO grace period, phone calls or warnings. Alternate pick-up arrangements must be made in advance of auction closing. FAILURE TO PAY: When you bid on any item, you are entering into a binding contract. If you fail to pay for items, you will be turned over to the District Attorney's office or our attorneys for collection, court costs, storage fees, and any other costs incurred by Bid City Auction Company LLC. ADDITIONAL FEES: While not specifically addressed in the above terms and conditions, Bidder accepts that Bid City Auction Company reserves the right to charge for chasing bad funds, re-shipping to changed addresses, transporting and storing items, delaying shipments, expediting shipments, and accommodating special and sometimes odd requests, etc. ONLINE BIDDING PROCESS: Bidders understand and agree they are bidding over the internet and technical issues may occur that Bid City Auction Company LLC has no control over and is not responsible if your bid fails to be recorded. If buyer fails to pay in full, buyer (a) authorizes owner and/or auction company to resell such property at any time at public or private sale, (b) agrees to indemnify owner and/or auction company against all loss or damage upon sale, together with cost and expenses thereof, including attorney's fees and (c) agrees to pay auction company interest of 1.5% per month on unpaid balance. Buyer accepts full responsibility for all purchases made and holds the company free from any liabilities including theft of items. The bidder is bound by these terms. Auctioneer, auction company employees and helpers may bid on auction items. Sellers and consigners may also bid on their own items for the sole purpose of winning items they no longer wish to sell.
