Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. retains the right to govern goods and services sold to clients and to maintain the level and integrity of our business. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. has the right to terminate the auction at any time; withdrawal from sale of any item; to sell at this auction items not listed; to group one of more lots into one or more selling lots or to subdivide into two lots or more selling lots. The auction company also reserves the right to sell all of the items listed in bulk.
Payment:
a) All payments will be required to be paid for with the credit card on file after auction is complete.
b) Buyer's Premium is 13% Online
c) Buyer specifically waves the right to dispute or deny payment for any purchases made with a credit card.
d) No items will be removed until they have been paid for. Purchaser is responsible for removal of all purchased goods. No abandonment of purchased items is allowed. All abandoned items will be sold for storage and moving fees.
e) Any gold & silver coins, precious stones and fine jewelry that are to be shipped anywhere will require wire transfer for payment.
Loading Equipment:
a) Buyer is responsible for their own removal of all items. Please bring any packing material and boxes that you may need. Please bring assistance to move heavy items to your vehicle and any tools for dismantling.
Pick up of Items:
a) All items must be on the scheduled pick up-date.
b) Outside of the Base Road Location-All Items must be picked up on the scheduled pick-up times. If they are not, they will be considered abandoned and become the possession of Harmeyer Auction, No Refund will be issued (11/16/2022)
c) Base Road Location: Any item remaining in our building 7 days after the scheduled auction pick up will be considered abandoned and become the possession of Harmeyer Auction, No Refund will be issued (11/16/2022)
No Liability:
a) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. assumes no liability for your purchases. The buyer assumes and does agree to indemnify and hold the auction company and seller harmless from any future claim that shall pertain to fitness or use of the asset being purchased.
b) Persons attending during exhibition, sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage or loss to person and property and specifically release and indemnify the Auction Company from liability therefore. Neither the Auction Company nor his principal or seller shall be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises in which the sale is held. Consignors & Bidders: a) All consignors must fill out a contract with Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC., sign forms and abide by our terms listed.
b) All bidders must register for bidder's numbers using proper ID or proper information.
c) Any employee of Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. may bid at any auction if they wish to purchase an item.
d) All items become the sole responsibility of the purchaser when the auctioneer confirms your bid as the successful winner. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
e) If there is any dispute between two or more bidders, the auction company or its' auctioneer, may decide the successful bidder. The decision of the auction company, or its' auctioneer, shall be final and absolute.
Loss of Bidding Privileges:
a) If you have failed to pay for an item your bidding privileges will be revoked. Your privileges may be restored by paying for the item or repaying for the loss of the revenue due to the items not having been sold and by placing a credit card on permanent file whereby future purchases will automatically be charged.
Delinquent Accounts:
a) The bidder that has not paid for, or has not removed their items from the auction site, will be subject to the cost of storage, trucking, re-sale, deficiency balances, collection fees, and any legal fees for recouping a loss due to the bidder's negligence.
Reserves:
a) Any and all items that Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. agrees to sell are subject to a reserve as per Indiana State Auction Law.
Documents:
a) All documents must be completed in full by buyers and sellers. For Example: Death Certificates, Letters of Authority, Creditor Leins, and UCC's when purchasing vehicles, firearms, etc.
b) All gun buyers will be required to fill out a 4473 form and pass a background check. Out of state buyers will be required to have any and all guns shipped to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) Dealer.
Compliance with the Terms of Sale:
a) In default of payment of bills in full within the time announced for this auction the Auction Company in addition to all other remedies allowed by law, may retain all monies received as deposit or otherwise, as liquidated damages.
b) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. is in complete accordance with Indiana statutes and Indiana Administrative codes, Title 25, Title 812, Department of Revenue Tax Bulletin #20, and Reference IC 6-2-4.
Warranties:
a) Everything is sold "AS IS/WHERE IS" with no warranties, representation or guarantees expressed, implied or otherwise given. All sales are final.
Conditions of Items Sold:
a) All information is believed to be accurate, but the auction company shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of or defect in any lot, and makes no warranty in connection therewith.
No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold "as is" and without recourse. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. requires any and all buyers to preview and make your own opinion of conditions.
Auctioneers have the right to refuse service or eject any person obstructing the auction process.
The record of sale kept by the Auction Company, the audio tape of the auction and the bookkeeper records will be taken as final in the event of any dispute.
Shipping/Pick up
a)All items must be paid for prior to pick up or shipping of the item
b)Pick up will be scheduled the following day after closing of the auction unless otherwise noted
c)If items are to be shipped the buyer will first pay for the item at the close of the auction. Then after payment has been made the items will be boxed and packaged for a fee of $5 per box. Then the card will be charged again for the shipping & handling fees and the items will then be shipped.
d)If the card is declined for the shipping fees the buyer will be notified and items will not be shipped until the shipping is paid in full.
e) if items are not picked up on the scheduled pick-up day, they may be considered forfeited, and no refund will be made.
f) If an item is shipped and damaged the buyer is responsible to file for all insurance claims
g) if an item is to be returned that will be done at the buyer's expense.

This is the second auction for the J Donald Killen Estate. These are some of the antiques and primitive items found around the farm. Be sure to be on the look out for a thrid auction for the family. 1 Colt Police Positive Pistol .32 cal Vintage Police Positive Colt revolver, comes with leather holster as well. Does have some engraving on side of frame, believe it could be a past carry gun for a police officer. Bluing is coming off in spots, solid framed pistol, just plenty of wear... 2 German Rohm Revolver German built .22 short revolver, plastic grips, good condition, marked Germany with several stamps of eagles on frame of gun, light weight and in good condition. 3 Rohm .38 Revolver Another German built Rohm revolver, in .38 special, blued, good condition, does come with leather holster, good tight pistol. 4 Iver Johnson .32 Revolver Vintage Iver Johnson brand .32 cal revolver, break open top, owl on hand grips, has been used and still in fair condition. Serial Number: 2822 5 German Semi-Auto Pistol Deutsche Werke semi auto pistol, in 7.65mm cartridge. Wooden grips, appears to be good condition, does come with one magazine, Serial Number: 65795 6 Armi San Marco Black Powder Revolver A very nice black powder .44 cal USMR Navy 1851 revolver, very nice condition, does appear to have been shot much at all. Cylinder engraving, wooden grips, brass and blued frame. Large gun, Serial Number: 29373 7 Traditions Kentuckian Pistol Nice black powder Tradition Kentuckian .50 cal black powder pistol, in nice condition, looks to be able to shoot, inspection needs to be done prior to this. Complete unit, serial number: 2588 8 Thompson Center Black Powder Pistol Very nice .45 cal black powder pistol made by Thompson Center, open sights, complete unit, doesn't appear to be very old, well kept. Serial Number: 11596 9 Jukar Flintlock Pistol Jukar, Spanish built flintlock pistol, very nice looking gun, brass accents, another very nice black powder pistol. Appears to be complete, serial number: 061062 10 Jukar Black Powder Derringer Jukar Derringer black powder pistol, Spanish built, very nice piece. Does have a couple nicks in wood, overall a nice pistol, brass trigger guard. Serial Number: 064562 11 Enfield Tower Musket Enfeild brand 1862 Tower musket rifle. American civil war era rifle, does look to be complete but some damage to the stock and wood under hammer, pitting and marring in metal portion of the rifle as well. 12 RTS Starter Pistol Small .22 cal short starter pistol by RTS, in good condition, has not been tested by us. appears to be complete and in working order, marked made in Italy, Serial Number: 43898 13 Remington 20ga Shotgun Shells Vintage boxes of Remington brand 20ga shotgun shells. In very nice boxes, both are filled and plastic shells. 14 Vintage Remington Express 20ga Shells Box of Remington Express 20 ga shotgun shells, box is not full, one box is in good condition, other does not have top, all plastic shells. A;ll are 16ga mixed sizes. 24 Federal 16ga Slugs Two full boxes of 16ga 4/5oz 2 3/4" slugs, both Federal brand. 350gr hollow point 25 16ga Slugs Three full boxes of older Federal brand shotgun slugs, all are 16ga 4/5oz 2 3/4" hollow points, all look to be good. 26 16ga Winchester Slugs Three full boxes of Winchester brand 16ga shothgun slugs, 2 3/4" 4/5oz, plastic shells. Older set but still modern. 27 16ga Slugs Three boxes of 16ga Federal brand slugs, 4/5 oz 2 3/4", older but modern shells, appear to be good. Get all three boxes for one money. 28 16ga Slugs Three full boxes of 16ga Winchester brand slugs, hollow point, 2 3/4" 4/5oz. Another older but modern set of shells. 29 16ga Slugs Two boxes of Remington brand 16ga slugs, 2 3/4" 4/5oz, filled boxes, hollow point shells. 30 12ga Shotgun Shells Full box of Herter's brand shotgun shells, all 12ga shells, box is damaged. These are trap, skeet and light filed type rounds, 2 3/4" 1/8oz 7 1/2 shot. 31 12ga Sears Brand Shotgun Shells 24 total shells in this box. These are Sears brand with Ted Williams brand on them. Are plastic shells, 12ga 2 3/4" 12ga shells. Box is nice condition as well. 32 12ga Shotgun Shells 15 total shells in this lot, all are steel shot in 12ga. Winchester brand. 33 Federal 12ga Shotgun Shells 19 total 12ga shells, 4 shot mag shells, 2 3/4" box does have some damage, shells are older but still modern shells. 34 Monark Brand 12ga Shotgun Shells Vintage set of 12 12ga shells, 6 shot and 3" length. All paper shells, great looking box but does have some staining. Monark brand. 35 Western Xpert Shells 6 total shells of Western Xpert shells, all paper and vintage, great looking box as well. I don't recall seeing Western brand without Winchester associated with it. Great box and shells, great for the hunting or trophy room. 36 Mixed 12ga Shells Mixed set of 24 12ga shells, all brands and sizes. All appear to be modern type ammo. 37 Super X Slugs Vintage set of 5 20ga rifled shotgun slugs, Western Super X brand, vintage 2 3/4" slugs, another great looking box and set of vintage ammo, does have some writing on one side of box. 38 Remington 12ga Shells Set of three boxes of 5 Buckshot 12ga 2 3/4" 00BK shot, 15 total shells. Modern ammo 39 Federal 12ga Slugs Box of 5 12ga 1oz 2 3/4" slugs, box is full, older set of shells but still modern type of ammo. 40 12ga Sears Shells Another set of Sears Ted Williams brand shot gun shells, vintage box, plastic shell. 12ga 2 3/4". Vintage box and ammo, great display piece or decor. 48 Winchester .32 Ammo Set of Winchester brand .32 S&W ammo, vintage ammo and box. 49 .32 Remington Ammo 59 total .32 S&W shells, all appear to be in good condition and modern ammo, all Remington brand. 50 .38 Special Ammo 100 total rounds of misc .38 special ammo, two different types of bullets, all lead soft bullets. 51 Vintage Western Ammo Vintage set of Winchester 30-30 ammo, Western brand, great looking boxes, all ammo is vintage, on box does have some damage to one end and comes with 4 spent casings. 52 Lead Shot Two containers of lead shot, one plastic and one cloth bag full. 53 Gun Cleaning Rods Set of vintage gun cleaning rods and brush, one is wooden rod and one metal. Also comes with small wire brush or patch holder. 54 Gun Refinishing Kit A set for gun refinishing, comes with bluing kit as well as stock refinishing kit. Older set unsure if still good, but appears to be complete and in good. One kit is still sealed in original packaging. 55 Targets & Hearing Protection Several paper targets from Sears as well as a set of ear muffs for hearing protection. 56 Instructional & Safety Manuals Set of vintage manuals, comes with instructions for Daisy Model Fieldmaster as well as Daisy safety program and the commandments of gun safety. 57 Dollar Silver Certificates Three 1 dollar silver certificates, no major damage but are wrinkled, 1957 and 1935. 58 Dollar Silver Certificates Set of 4 one dollar silver certificates, includes: 1957 and 1935 series. All appear to be good, some bent corners and wrinkling but no major damage. 59 5 Dollar Silver Certificate One 1953 series 5 dollar silver certificate, large crease down the middle horizontal and vertical through bill, wrinkles and some corner damage. 60 Two Dollar Red Stamps Two 2 dollar red stamp bills, 1926 & 1953 series, both have some creasing with the 1926 bill being the worse with wrinkles, 1953 bill does have a torn corner. 61 1856 Liberty Large Penny 1856 Liberty large one cent piece, does have some wear to the coin, still legible on both sides. 62 Three Shield Nickels Three shield nickles, dates are from 1882 and 1874, these are the only two legible. Other coin is wore very much. Others are both in fair condition. 63 (2) Large One Cent Pieces Two large one cent pieces, 1887 & 1889, both have wear, 1889 piece does have some corrosion 64 1828 Half Cent Piece 1828 half cent piece, does have hole drilled on one side, some nicks, other than these overall condition seems to be good. All features, words and numbers are legible. 65 1864 2 Cent Piece 1864 2 cent piece, some wording is wore very badly, can still make out the shield and year, the back appears to be in better condition than front of the coin. I would call this coin fair to less than fair condition. 66 1853 Seated Liberty Half Dime 1853 Seated Liberty half dime, some wear to the front of the coin, many of the features of the Liberty are wore off, back appears to have less wear than the front, everything is there and legible. Quarter in picture three for reference of size. 67 1853 3 Cent Piece 1853 3 cent piece, some wear to front of coin, some of the detail work is gone, but a can make out the majority of the major art work. Year is legible, reverse side has wear as well but yet again, all the major portion are legible. 68 Walking Liberty Half Dollars Two walking liberty half dollar coins, some wear to these, but overall in good condition, all major art work good and all wording and numbers are legible. 69 Walking Liberty Half Dollars Two walking liberty half dollar coins, 1945 & 1942 years, 1945 coin appears to be worn more than the '42 coin, some detail gone, but all letters, numbers and large detail in intact. 70 Walking Liberty Half Dollars Two walking liberty half dollars 1942 & 1941, 1941 dollar may be in a little better condition than 1942 dollar coin, both all major art is intact, words and numbers are legible. 71 Walking Liberty half Dollars Two very worn walking liberty half dollars, unable to read years, just enough detail left to know you have a walking liberty dollar, backs are just as worn. Many words and numbers are gone or not legible. 72 Walking Liberty Half Dollars Two walking liberty half dollars, 1942 & 1946. 1946 coin appears to be in better condition than 1942 coin, all words and numbers legible, all major designs are present. 73 Walking Liberty Half Dollars Two walking liberty half dollars, 1942 & 1943. 1943 coin is wore much more than the 1942 coin. '43 coin has major wear on year and back. The liberty and eagle are able to be seen. 1942 coin does have some tarnish to it. 74 Walking Liberty Half Dollars Two walking liberty half dollar coins, 1947 & 1944, some tarnish to the 1944 coin, both do have wear but all letters and numbers are legible. 75 Peace Dollar 1928 Peace dollar, does have some sort of glue or something on the front, looks as if it can be cleaned. Overall a decent dollar coin, some wear, one front and back. 76 Peace Dollar 1923 Peace dollar coin, appears to have been taped to something with staining from the tape, Overall appears to be a little better than fair coin, some of the small details worn off but all major ones still intact. 77 Peace Dollar 1924 Peace dollar, has some tarnish but overall I think the best Peace dollar in the auction. Many of the details still intact on coin, all letters and number legible. 78 Peace Dollar 1922 peace dollar, has some tarnish on coin, all letters and numbers are legible, some detail worn off but overall good condition. 79 Peace Dollar 1922 Peace dollar coin, very nice condition compared to others offered, a lot of the small detail is intact on coin, all letters and numbers legible. 80 Peace Dollar 1922 Peace dollar, appears to have some type of glue or adhesive on coin, overall condition of coin is fair, all letters and numbers legible, some of the fine detail is worn off. 81 Peace Dollar 1922 Peace dollar, some wear on edges, nick mainly. Wear on back side as well, all letter legible, fine detail worn off. 82 Peace Dollar 1922 Peace dollar, in good condition, no major wear on front and back, does have some glue or adhesive residue on back side (appears from tape), all letters and number legible. 83 Peace Dollar 1926 Peace dollar, in fair condition, does have what looks like soot on coin, adhesive or glue residue on front as well. Looks to be a punch mark or dent on upper right corner of lady Liberty. Some fine detail work gone on eagle but all numbers and ... 84 Peace Dollar Another good conditioned Peace dollar coin, 1922 coin. Some glue or adhesive residue on front of coin, overall good condition, majority of fine detail is able to be seen along with all letters and numbers. 85 Peace Dollar 1926 Peace dollar coin, some tarnish, overall good to fair condition, some wear but everything can be seen and made out. 86 Peace Dollars Two Peace dollar coins offered in this lot, one does have something stuck to the front and back of the coin, appears it could be cleaned but did not want to damage the coin. 1923 & 1928 mint years. 87 Peace Dollar 1923 Peace dollar, some adhesive or glue residue on front of coin, 1923 mint year. Back side has more wear than front with many of the small details gone on eagle. All words and numbers legible. 88 Morgan Dollar 1921 Morgan dollar coin, overall good condition with some tarnish, no major wear seen, all numbers and letters legible. 89 Morgan Dollar 1931 Morgan dollar, some tarnish but overall good condition, no major wear that can be seen. 90 Morgan Dollar 1921 Morgan dollar, some glue or tape residue on front of coin, overall good condition, all letters and numbers in good condition and legible. 91 Morgan Dollar 1884 Morgan dollar, pretty heavy wear on this coin, outside of coin is very smooth, all small details have been lost, all numbers and letter still legible but some major wear on this coin. 92 Morgan Dollar 1889 Morgan dollar coin, some tarnish on coin but overall good condition, most detail still intact on coin and all letters and numbers legible. 93 Morgan Dollar 1921 Morgan dollar, overall good condition, majority of fine detail still left on coin, all letters and numbers legible as well. 94 Morgan Dollar 1903 Morgan dollar coin, lots of wear to outside of coin, a lot of the fine detail wore off, all numbers and letters legible, some tarnish or soot as well as glue or tape residue on back of coin. 95 Mercury Dimes Two Mercury dimes, one from 1912 & 1935. 1912 has quite a lot of wear to it, very smooth edges with a lot of the fine detail gone. 1935 coin is in fair to good condition, some tarnish but all numbers and letters legible, pretty nice coin. 96 1940's Nickles 11 1940's nickles, some better than others in condition, various mint locations as well. 96 1940's Nickles 11 1940's nickles, some better than others in condition, various mint locations as well. These are all in small display pouches. Please see photos for all years and mint markings. 97 Morgan Dollar Door Knob Morgan One Dollar coin encased in resin or plastic door knob. Coin appears to be in very good condition with little wear. 98 Proof Sets Proof sets for the years of 1979 & 1975, coin in plastic, un-circulated currency. Display case with both sets. 99 Proof Sets Proof sets from 1982 & 1992, all in plastic, come with display cases, new un-circulated currency. 100 13 Colony Coins Set of three original 13 colony coins, in plastic that is still sealed, plastic carrying case or holder, these are brittle due to age, no years on coins, just collector sets. 101 Crock Butter Churn Very nice black 6 crock butter churn, is missing the top but has wooden churn and crock does have two small hairline cracks but not bad and has not caused issues. Measurements in photos. 102 Earthenware Jug Very nice glazed earthenware or crock jug, handle has been repaired. Some imperfections in glaze but overall a nice piece. 103 #2 Heart Crock Jug Very nice number 2 blue heart crock jug, some cracking at bottom of the just along with chip, crack may be from moulding issue, one small chip at edge where tapper and bigger jug meet. 104 Crock Jug Very nice wide mouthed crock jug. Very nice condition, major cracks or does have a couple small chips at base of jug. Very neat piece. 105 Egg Scale Vintage egg scale, does have paint chipping and small amount of rust, but gives it a great look. Jiffy-Way brand, complete. 106 Vintage Scale Set of vintage 24 lbs scale, Montgomery Ward brand, emblem on side with some chipping, rusty base but great look and patina. 107 Antique Blow Torch Small brass appearing blow torch, wooden handle, partial emblem on front, no major damage to piece. 108 Scales Small set of brass scales and larger set of beam type scales. Both antique or vintage, brass scale looks like it would clean up well. 109 The Toledo Cooker Toledo Cooker Co, cooker, white gas or kerosene fueled cooker, very nice condition and appears to be complete. Measurements in photos. 110 Ball Jars Three quart and half ball jars, these date from 1900-1910, these take the wax type lids, some lids come with lot along with vintage box of wax, great display pieces. 111 Green Jar Wax topper green glass jar, quart and half size, no name appears on jar, but could possibly be Ball, in good condition and comes with a small assortment of wax type lids. 112 Ball Jar Large quart and half Ball jar, dates to 1923-1933 vintage, good condition, screw top type of lid, # 8 on bottom of jar. 113 Mason Jar Large clear glass Mason brand jar, features the Maltese cross on the jar, these are from the late 1800's patent date of 1858. Good jar with tapered styling, screw type lid. 114 Opler Bros Cocoa Jar Bale type clear jar with Opler Brothers Inc Cocoa & Chocolate logo on front, good jar, is complete with lid. Believe from the 1920's. 115 Misc Ball Jars Lot of several Ball brand jars, various years of production. Comes with a few zinc lids as well as Presto type lids with glass inserts. Lot also features on clear glass bale type jar. All appears to be good. 116 Sugar Dispenser & Glass Jug Small clear glass jug with spout, appears to be good, also comes with vintage sugar dispenser. 117 Dazey Butter Churn Dazey No 40 butter churn, in very nice condition, wooden paddles look good, no cracks or damage to jar or works. 118 Sausage Stuffer/Grinder Vintage metal sausage stuffer/grinder, appears to be complete does not have any extra screens. |
