The Lewisburg WV Online Estate Auction of the Year! Blake Auction and Appraisal is proud to present the estate auction of the late Mrs. Genevieve McCormick. Mrs. McCormick passed at the age of 90 and had lived many places including South America and England. She had also traveled extensively with her late husband Robert McCormick. Before buying the huge home on Washington Street East in Lewisburg, the McCormick’s had owned the prestigious “Cedars” country estate in Alderson. The McCormick’s were very active with many groups in Lewisburg, and notably the Greenbrier County Library for which a street is named in honor. Mrs. McCormick loved baking, cooking, gardening, and travel, but she cherished most having her family visit and stay in her home. Mrs. McCormick loved collecting antiques from near and far across the world. This online auction is HUGE and presents, primitives, artwork, decorated stoneware, Spode, flow blue, period furniture, Americana, rugs and so much more! Join us online for exciting Internet Only Auction Event. Bidders are also invited to join the auction team at the home for a preview on July 30th from 3pm to 7pm local time. The online bidding begins on July 23rd and will conclude on August 6th with staggered and extended lots closing.
