REAL ESTATE TRACTS

DAIBER REAL ESTATE:

TRACT 1 – 4,000+ sq. ft. (7) BR home w/ beautiful wood moldings, attached garage, multiple roof makeups, mostly new replacement windows, basement, barns, shed & hog barn – all of this on 7.6 acres +/-. It is said that this was one of Crawford Co.’s original homesteads. Make sure you visit this ex.-large homestead & be prepared to bid.

Historical Home Information:

Faux bois woodwork: Upstairs woodwork, and some downstairs, is hand painted in a faux bois style to appear as though it has a white oak grain to the wood. The faux bois is on top of a lesser grade of wood. The painted woodwork is in its original condition.
Ash floors: The hardwood floors in the house are ash.
Front stair way: There used to be an additional stair way on the east side of the house, where the kitchen is now, that led to the upstairs servants’ rooms so that they wouldn’t use the main staircase.
Butler’s pantry: There is a butler’s pantry off what is now the kitchen. It has 3 three-foot bins built in for storing flour, rice, etc. They look like something you might see in an old general store.
Basement floors: One basement floor is laid in a herringbone brick pattern. Another floor is very large slate rectangles tiled together.
Basement bricks: The interior walls of the basement are made of bricks that were made onsite. A brick kiln would have been built onsite, and the bricks fired in it. Because they were made onsite, the bricks are soft. They absorb moisture, and thereby expand and contract.
Fireplace in summer kitchen: The fireplace in the summer kitchen is in working order.

DAIBER WOODS:

TRACT 2 – 3 Acres +/- of wooded acreage on Caldwell Rd. w/ 200’ frontage

TRACT 3 – 8.3 Acres +/- of heavy woods on Caldwell Rd. w/ 225’ frontage

TRACT 4 – 3.5 Acres +/- of woods just east of SR 98 & Monnett Chapel 476’ frontage

TRACT 5 – 3 Acres +/- of woods just east of SR 98 on Monnett New Winchester Rd. w/ 355’ frontage

TRACT 6 – Same as TRACT 5 & adjoins it on east side

NOTES: TRACTS 2 & 3 will be offered individually & in combination – the same on TRACTS 5 & 6.

TERMS: TRACT (1) - $15,000 down and TRACTS (2-6) $10,000 down per tract, nonrefundable w/ balances due on or before Sept. 30, 2022. POSSESSION: On deed delivery. TAXES: Prorated. All announcements made auction day take precedent over ALL printed materials.
