Born and raised in Washington, Roy and Dorthy settled down in the Tri Cities to raise their three children in 1949. Dorthy, a born artist and born to a Norwegian family taught art to 5th grade students. Roy, born to a Swedish family, was a WW2 Navy Vet and industrial grocery worker. They traveled around the world collecting special artifacts including dishware, vintage clothing, books, art, instruments, glass, and European and American memorabilia and decor.
