Auction Terms & Conditions for Personal Property Auction: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. A successful bid at auction, whether live or online, constitutes a legally binding contract of sale. All sales are final. There will be no refunds, returns or exchanges. The bidder's number is nontransferable. All bids, online or at live auction, made using the bid number will be the responsibility of the person to which the bid number is registered to. NO SHIPPING OFFERED, LOCAL PICKUP ONLY Buyer's premium is 18% By agreeing to our terms and conditions you agree to allow us to charge the credit card on file if you are the successful bidder at the conclusion of the auction. We accept all major credit cards. Any bidder with declined credit card payment will have two (2) business days to contact the office (865) 659-2948 and pay with a valid credit card, If payment has not been successfully received within two (2) business days, the bidder will no longer be allowed to bid at our online or live auctions. Please be sure that your personal information (name, address, phone number, and email) are correct. Alvis & Lowe Auction company inc. will use this information to contacted you if the need arises. All property is sold “AS IS”, where is, with no guarantees written or implied and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factors before bidding. Alvis & Lowe Auction Company, Inc. may attempt to describe the merchandise but makes no representations. In no event shall Alvis & Lowe Auction Company, Inc. be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. All sales are final. Bidders who bid in online auctions understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. Alvis & Lowe Auction Company, Inc. shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it. Bidders must rely on their own judgment, knowledge, and inspections. Payment for purchases is due in full at the conclusion of auction. A buyers premium of 18% will be added to all bids to determine the final contract sales price. The 18% buyers premium includes any and all charges associated with credit card fees etc and no additional charges will be applied. Buyers will be invoiced at the conclusion of the auction. All sales are Final. All bidders must be at least 18 years of age. This is an Estate Auction therefore no Tennessee sales tax will apply. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Alvis & Lowe Auction Company, Inc. or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the Auction, and will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Alvis & Lowe Auction Company, Inc. reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this Auction. If for any reason litigation is instigated as a result of this Auction the jurisdiction and venue will be the Anderson County Circuit Court in Clinton, Tennessee. Pickup days and times will be clearly stated prior to the opening of each Auction. Buyer will need to bring a copy of their paid receipt along with all packing materials, tie-downs, and labor needed for the removal and transportation of purchased goods. Alvis and Lowe Auction Co. Inc. is not responsible for any items remaining at the end of the designated pickup time unless prior arangments have been made. Alvis & Lowe Auction Company Inc cannot provide moving or loading labor. We also do not provide any local delivery services. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to these terms.
