  • You must be at least 18 to bid and register a vehicle.
  • All bids are final and may not be cancelled. 
  • High bidders are responsible for all winning bids, including fees.
  • The auction company reserves the right to accept and/or reject bids at their discretion.
  • Please call our office if you are new to our auction and plan to bid on multiple vehicles at the same time.
  • If you bid on multiple vehicles at the same time, you may be blocked until you contact us.

Read the vehicle descriptions.

  • All vehicles run unless noted in the description.
  • Any known conditions are listed. 
  • Under the photos there is a tab for video of the motors running, when available.
  • All vehicles are titled.
  • If the vehicle is less than 10 years old mileage will be transferred as "actual mileage," "excess of mechanical limits," or "not the actual mileage." 
    All other vehicles will be listed as "exempt."
  • Title "Branding" is determined by the state issuing the title. Typical brands found on titles are: "rebuilt," "salvage history," "flood," etc.  Stokes Auction will disclose brands that are listed on titles and known mechanical issues told to us by the seller. 
  • Out of state buyers: Be prepared to provide two forms of ID showing your name and matching out of state address. You will be required to provide either a legal license plate for transport, a trailer or a three day move permit. (We may have these on hand for purchase, they cost $33). Also, it is the out-of-state buyer's responsibility to verify the vehicle they are buying is legal in their state and that the title work, or releases will be sufficient.
    Be aware that a Washington release of interest (ROL) will not be sufficient to use outside this state. Any vehicle sold with a ROL to an out-of-state buyer must be processed within Washington, this means sales tax and filing fees will be collected.
  • Additions and/or deletions may be made by auction day
