AUG 19 PARKER C. THOMPSON PERSONAL PROPERTY AUCTION 339 JEFFERSON STREET WINCHESTER VA 22601 Reverend Parker C. Thompson was a retired U.S. Army Colonel (D-Min) and was a highly decorated Army Chaplin who served in both the Korean War & in the Vietnam War. He taught at the Chaplin's School and influenced many future leaders including a future Chief of Chaplins. Chaplain Thompson established the Army's Chaplain's Museum and wrote the first volume of the Corps history centered in the Colonial Era. He was a long time pastor in Loudoun County at the North Fork Baptist Church.
