Auction Terms & Conditions TERMS OF SALE 1. EVERYTHING WILL BE CHARGED THE DAY FOLLOWING THE AUCTION. All items must be picked up within 48 hours of the auction closing unless prior arrangements have been made. A storage fee will be charged after the first 48 hours for 7 days, after the 7th day items will become the property of the auction company. 2. Everything is sold "as is, where is' ' with no guarantees of any kind, regardless of the statement of condition made from the auction block. Buyers shall rely entirely on their inspection and information. 3. Every effort is made to "guard" merchandise throughout the auction; however, the bidder becomes solely responsible for all items purchased by the individual immediately following their winning bid. Therefore, individuals are advised to further guard their items at their own discretion. 4. The bidder is responsible for knowing which item they are bidding on. When you become the winning bidder at auction you have effected a contract and will be expected to pay for items in which you were evidenced to be the successful bidder. Auctioneer will not honor "Mistakes." We do our best to try to describe and research items, we are only human and therefore prone to errors. PLEASE utilize full use of the auction preview day in order to make sure you are bidding on the items correctly. It is the bidders responsibility to preview items and bid accordingly. 5. The Auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids in any increment they feel are in the best interest of the client or seller. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject the bidding of any person whose conduct, actions, or averse comments they feel are not in the best interest of the seller. 6. Collusion will not be tolerated. In accordance with the Sherman Act, it is unlawful to agree not to bid against another buyer, punishable by fines and imprisonment. 7. 10% buyers premium on each item purchased. 8. Purchaser will pay all legal state sales tax, unless exemption requirements are met. 9. Payment may be made by cash or debit and credit cards accepted with a 3% convenience fee. All items must be picked up within 48 hours of auction closing unless prior arrangements have been made. To make arrangements contact My Hometown Auctions @ 385 393-8761. Loading is the responsibility of the buyer, bringing help would be nice. Buyer agrees to pick up their winning "Items" in a timely manner () or their items will be auctioned off again unless prior arrangements were made between My Hometown Auctions and the winning bidder.
