Auctioneer’s Note: Todd Mason moved here 22 years ago and bought this farm. He started buying cows with commercial type in mind. He soon decided he wanted an ALL REGISTERED HERD and in the last 10 years has competed nationally both in shows & sales and classification. His cattle have always gone on to do better for the purchaser than himself. His last BAA was #1 in the nation for 400+ cows. He has 21 cows over 2nd lactation & over half of them are classified EX-90 or above and 5 are Ex-93. In May of 2019, Todd sold 450 head and the last BAA was 107.9 on over 500 head. He kept his better cows and started milking the heifers as they came fresh which is why the herd is so young. This is an incredible herd of young cows with great udders, feet & legs. All cows & bred heifers are freestall & lock-up broke. Cows will be reclassified April 1st. Reason for sale: Todd is tired of being tied down to the farm and has done most of the milking the last 2 years due to a labor situation. The herd health & reproductive status of the herd could not be better
