Everybody loves movies, old and new. Movie collectibles make for unique Christmas presents. This auction, from the famous inventory of WalterFilm, has a nice cross section of items that have been specially selected as possible presents, with minimum prices ranging from $75 up to $2000. The material here is a mix of Hollywood and European art films. Along with a good-sized chunk of American material, movie paper from other countries (Sweden, China, France, Italy, Mexico, among others) is also included. The auction includes vintage posters, photographs, lobby cards, pressbooks, and original vintage movie scripts. All kinds of classic movies are in the mix, from DIRTY HARRY and THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH to two early Marilyn Monroe classics, to such art house favorites as FANNY AND ALEXANDER. Also, some other posters were included just because they look great. All kinds of special vintage photos are in the auction, including ones of Hitchcock, Joan Crawford, and Greta Garbo. And, for the film lover, we have included one of the ultimate unique presents---original vintage movie posters for such famous movies as MASH, SHANE, THE FLY, and BEETLEJUICE.
