This will be the final auction from the estate of the late Virgil and Nancy Simmons, with items coming mainly from Virgil’s well-maintained log cabin and other out-buildings. This is a very condensed listing.

 

FURNITURE: Cider press – porch swing – gate-legged table – round oak single pedistal table – dining room hutch – Walking spinning wheel - oak chairs – hoop-back chairs – pressed back chairs – ladder-back chairs – trunks – ladders.

 

TOOLS: Offered will be Virgil’s large collection of early carpenter’s tools: 2-man saws, froes, chisels, saws, draw knives, adzes, hatchets, mauls, & augers.
