Selling the livelong collection of Roy & Ruth Horner

Roy & Ruth lived on the old homestead their entire married life and collected quite alot over the years. The Estate needs to be settled so the family has decided to have a Public Auction to help this process along.

It is our pleasure to do the auction as Roy was the first bidder number ever given out for an auction conducted by Mike Peterson Auction Service over 30+ years ago!!

This will be an old fashioned walk along sell it as we find it auction. 3 barns and a house full of items to be sold!

Just when you thought the Northeast was tapped out of primitive farm lore, along comes the dispersal of Ruth and Roy Horner’s life-long collection of everything they remembered their parents using and everything that interested their minds and imaginations on their farm. Like the dispersal of a time capsule. Our family welcomes you to join us on September 29th Antique wardrobe with attached chest of drawers; Ethan Allen chest and shelving unit; Ethan Allen chest of drawers; large, multi-drawer dresser; mid-century chest of drawers; small modern chest of drawers; two metal cabinets, one w/lock and key; antique table painted red and black; floral stuffed chair; contemporary coffee table and end tables; antique and/or vintage iron bed frames; round coffee table; antique chest of drawers with large oval mirror; large industrial desk; antiqued green chest with secret drawer;  cast iron pots, one with gate mark, one Griswold; Griswold pipe flues (multiple sizes), East Lake pre-1900 spoon-cut bed with tall headboard and carved side boards, and matching chest with mirror and lamp or candle stations (exceptional if one is doing a period bedroom – very nice - appraised); two-piece desk with letter slots; multiple vintage radios; antique, large, unusual framed photograph of a little girl; 14K Bible pendant, opens to multiple pages of the Lord’s prayer; vintage Verplex (Essex, Connecticut) rooster-lamp, cast frame only; painted chalk rooster; tin-cut chicken and rooster wall art; military shirts; WWI ammo or foot locker (?); large, vintage Mickey-Spillane-like green file cabinet; kitchenware; 78 RPM records; antique enamelware; antique or vintage typewriter; multiple antique clothing irons, SAD style; antique Oak Mission style round dining table; bookcase; gorgeous-country primitive jelly cupboard; metal toy iron boards; antique horse pull toy; vintage wooden runner snow sleds, vintage snow skis, primitive wooden foot locker; multiple primitive, wooden cabinets; wooden bench; panes of glass; knickknacks, some vintage; multiple wash-tubs.
