Listing Information
We are selling a fascinating man's life long collection of tools and collectibles. These items range from steam to sailing to the metal trades. Besides a large collection of machinist tools and machines. There is a nice assortment of steam related items incuding working model engines, collections of oilers and gauges, steam powered pump, gauges to rate horse power for steam engines. There is a device that illustrates how the valves are timed in a steam locomotive. There are remnants of his sailing days with various brass fittings, a folding Evinrude, gauges, lights, a wood fired cook stove and an assortment of brass propellors. While we are at sea there is a Russian Naval Clock, a US Naval Clock, a US Navy gimballed barometer, large brass gauges and clocks. The man also owned a plane for a while and there are a few aviation items also. There is a short wooden propellor and a tail propellor from a helicopter. There is a collection of wood working tools and a 3 phase wood lathe, a 10 inch Delta table saw, a variable speed band saw AND MORE! There is a 1/4 ton or better of Brass and Aluminum stock and scrap. We will sort it and offer it in lots for those who want the stock. the scap will be offered in larger lots. There are approximately 20 electric motors. Also a collection of random wood for projects, including Walnut, Oak, Maple, Mahogany and Luan.
