Auction Terms & Conditions - To Bid and Buy: When you register to bid online With Amber Door Estate Sales Inc., please read over the terms and conditions as set out below. REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION: At the time of registration, we collect information about you to verify who you are before you can bid. Credit card information is collected to ensure that you are a qualified buyer. All bidders must be of legal age to bid. PAYING FOR YOUR PURCHASES: There is no cost to register for an auction. Your credit card will not be charged unless you win. When an auction closes, if you are the winner, your credit card will be charged with the winning bid amount, plus applicable Buyers Premium and taxes. BIDDING: All bids are final. If you are a winner, your credit card will be charged at close of the auction. SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS will be notified VIA E-MAIL by the morning following the auction. Your credit card will be charged for the price of the item(s) you have won plus buyers' premium and applicable taxes. PICKUPS & REMOVALS: Dates and times for pickup are posted on the auction details page. Any item not picked up during the posted pickup times, or prior shipping arrangements made, will be considered an abandoned item. If you abandon an item, your credit card will be charged for the purchase price of the item plus the cost to remove, transport and dispose the item. ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED DURING SPECIFIED CHECKOUT TIMES OR THE ITEM WILL BE DEEMED ABANDONED AND A DISPOSAL FEE MAY BE APPLIED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE. Sales Tax 13% HST Applies to All Sales 18% Buyers Premium in Effect. SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS or DELIVERY - Amber Door provides shipping and delivery for any item upon request please ensure you bid on items marked "SHIPPING AVAILABLE" on each lot - you can easily see this notation while bidding. Amber Door will charge a packing fee ranging between $5-$25 per box - if some items are very breakable, these will be shippend via a Pack & Ship service where the service includes packing and thus allows the parcel to be insured against breakage. Amber Door is not responsible for shipping issues including damage during shipping, once the items leave our location we are no longer responsible for the items, shipping is AT YOUR OWN RISK. We will work to determine the best shipment option possible, once bidding is final and if you have specified shipping, your credit card will be charged and you will receive an email with the tracking id, if applicable. Please ensure you make prior arrangements to the pick-up date to ensure we are aware of your shipping requirements. Otherwise your items will be deemed an abandoned item, see terms & conditions for abandoned items under pick-ups & removals. Any items not picked up per the shipping &/or pick-up instructions, could be subject to storage or removal fees. SHIPPING FROM CANADA TO THE USA IS COSTLY, A SMALL ENVELOPE IS $30 - PLEASE CONSIDER SHIPPING COSTS PRIOR TO BIDDING. WE WILL INCLUDE INSURANCE ON ALL PACKAGES AT THE COST OF THE BIDDER. SHIPPING CAN TAKE UP TO 14 DAYS TO PROCESS SHIPPING AND DELIVERY: If you would like to request shipping or delivery please make a note to the auctioneer on the auction page or send an email to amberdoorestatesales@outlook.com. Please ensure you are prepared to move all items yourself or assign a designated person or moving company, Amber Door staff will NOT be available to move or pack items. Please bring boxes and necessary wrapping materials to pack your items. Property is open to viewing by appointment only, as set out in the auction details and it is recommended to book a preview, we can organize via an interactive online service. Amber Door reserves the right to bid, including our employees & contractors. We strongly encourage all bidders to personally verify the condition of each item during the scheduled preview times. ERROR RESOLUTION: Amber Door Estate Sales Inc. will do its best to resolve all legitimate disputes. If there are changes to a specific item during a sale it will be posted or removed on the Web site. CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. PERSONAL AND PROPERTY RISKS. The BUYER expressly agrees to indemnify and save Amber Door Estate Sales Inc., the Seller and their assigns harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage or liability, directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from an act, including the negligent acts or omissions of Amber Door Estate Sales Inc., or anyone acting in his/her behalf in connection with or arising out of auction.
