Listing Information

Samuel R. Bailey, of S. R. Bailey & Co., was a well-known figure in the carriage trade as early as 1866 -- being connected with firms in Bath, Maine, and Boston in 1878. In 1882 he came to Amesbury to establish his business, and in 1887, admitted his son, E. W. M. Bailey, to partnership.
