FOR THIS AUCTION ONLY - Since there is very little internet connectivity on site, all cards on file will be charged directly after the auction ends. If your card is declined, please bring cash or good check when picking up the items as we may not be able to attempt to run a new card at the rural location. We will NOT run a credit card on the REAL ESTATE lot. Proof of funds is required to bid on the real estate. Do not late til the last minute to register for the Real Estate lot as you must provide proof such as bank letter of banking APP balance of $10,000 in a savings or checking account to bid on the Real Estate. This auction features an auto bid extend. Auction end times: Mayer Auction Company LLC Online Auctions are timed events and all bidding will close at specified time with an auto extend feature. When a bid is placed in the final 2 minutes of bidding the auction bidding will automatically be extended 2 minutes from the time the bid was placed. Our staff does NOT move carry or load items for you. You must provide any packing material or boxes needed for transport of items. THERE IS NO LATE PICKUP AVAILABLE if you do not pick up your items during the assigned pickup time, you forfeit your items with no refund. There is no shipping available for this sale. All items including the Real Estate are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. No implied or expressed warranties. All descriptions believed accurate but not warranted. Bidder inspection is encouraged and preview times are available. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. We reserve the right to reject any bid at our sole discretion. All checks must be made payable to Mayer Auction Company, LLC. A Buyers premium will be added to bid price to arrive at the sale price. Any sales tax would be figured on this final sale price. All sales are subject to State Sales Tax Laws. Bidders agree not to stop payment on checks is responsible for any expenses due to collection of bad checks. As an inducement to encourage the auctioneer to accept credit cards, the bidder agrees not to pursue chargebacks on any credit card payments. NO WARRANTY: The descriptions of items in this auction are believed to be correct. Never the less, neither those descriptions nor any oral statements made by Owner, its Officers, Agents or Employees of auctions concerning any item shall be constructed as a warranty, either express or implied. ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS - WHERE IS. SETTLEMENT: Must be made at the conclusion of the auction. No items will be removed before settlement is made. Merchandise becomes the full responsibility of the Buyer at time of purchase, and Buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage to property. RESALE: Auction Firm reserves the right to resell any property not paid for in full on payment day. The Buyer shall be responsible to Auction Firm for any expenses of resale and collection and damages resulting from the resale. Items not paid for or left beyond the cutoff date for pickup are treated as abandoned and may be resold by the auction company at any time as if they are their own property. INJURY & DAMAGE: Bidder acknowledges responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by Bidder or his Agent, and further agrees to hold the Auction firm, property owner, Owners, its Officers, or Employees harmless for any personal injury to himself or his Agents and any property damage incurred on auction premises or pick up location. By registering for this auction you give Mayer Auction Company, LLC Auctioneers permission to add you to their call, mailing and electronic mailing list. You can unsubscribe at any time. Our location in Brookneal, VA will be used to determine any legal jurisdiction.

Join us for an amazing online auction of the living Simpson Estate which features a beautiful farmhouse on 6+ acres in scenic Chase City, VA! The auction includes the property, house, 3 car garage, as well as the contents which consists mostly of antique furniture, primitives, and rustic decor. This absolute auction has no reserves! Bidding will close July 5th starting at 6:00PM, Even if hibid lets you register to bid for the contents of the house, you MUST follow special instructions to be approved to bid on the Real Estate! All auction buyer's premium apply to the Real Estate as well and that premium is the deposit due by July 11th at noon. We will have an open house AND item previews on June 26th from 2:30-6:30 PM and BY APPOINTMENT on July 2nd from 7:00-8:00 PM (we will only be there July 2nd if someone requests an appointment, no appointment required for the June 26th showing) The house has not been lived in for a couple years, so items are dusty and some have signs of mouse droppings, etc. We have not cleaned items and they are sold as found. So please keep in mind that items will need cleaning when setting your bids/expectations. Please see all of our terms for more information.
