23rd Annual Spring Auction - Ring 1 Sale Terms & Conditions Anyone wishing to bid on items in the auction must register and obtain a bidder's card. Anyone bidding must have their own bidder's number, this means DO NOT share your number. The auction company will not make changes, DeMott Auction Co., Inc. reserves the right to accept or reject the bid of anyone registered or unregistered. Terms & Conditions: Payment in full for all purchases is required on auction day in the form of cash or cashier's check. Personal or company check must be accompanied by a current original bank letter or guarantee, prior letters and or bank statements are unacceptable documents. NO EXCEPTIONS! Auctioneer cannot verify checks. NO CREDIT CARDS. Sales Tax: All sales are subject to sales tax unless you have a copy of a current resale tax exemption certificate. NOTICE: International buyers must provide a current, valid passport for identification purposes and a $10,000.00 deposit. The deposit must be made in US funds 5 days prior to auction. Exporters: If you take possession of your purchase in the United States, you must pay sales tax. You must provide the following within 10 days of the auction for a refund of sales tax. Either a bill of lading from the trucking company that removed the items or a dock receipt from the port. GATE - Georgia Agricultural Tax Exemption: If you don't have your NEW GATE Card with you so we can make a copy, you MUST pay sales tax regardless of your residence! NO EXCEPTIONS! Titles: A processing fee will be charged for all title work; titles will be processed and mailed to buyer after auction. Note to Auto Dealers: You must bring a copy of your dealer's license. All items MUST BE removed by Wednesday following the auction. Any items left after the removal date will be considered abandoned and will be sold ABSOLUTE at public auction to cover storage cost. Please do not bid if you are not able to pick up your items during the scheduled removal times NO refunds or chargeback's will be granted due to a lack of removal at the designated times. Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium will be charged at all auctions. Please refer to the current brochure for the buyers premium rates. Online Bidders will be required to pay the buyers premium and an additional 2.5% will be added to all purchases cappped at $750.00 per item Warranty/Condition: All items sold "As-Is", "Where-Is" without any warranties as to usefulness and merchantability.
