ONLINE AND ON-SITE LIVE TWO DAY SEPTEMBER 22 and 23 , 2023 10 AM CST 205 S Main St, Homer, IL 61849 Toystrainsandotheroldstuff LLC is proud to offer at public auction the contents of Pierce Trucking to include a 1965 Dodge Coronet drag car with a 426 max wedge, eleven vintage restored gas pumps, six restored oil pumps, a great Mobilgas Pegasus sign, an old Standard sign on top of a 15'+ tall I-beam, three barber chairs, several old grocery store scales, old cast iron wood and gas kitchen stoves, several potbelly stoves, two brass cash registers, petroliana, a car lift, 1935 Chevy gas truck, 1949 Buick with 35,000 original miles plus an extra straight 8 engine sold separately, Coke and Pepsi machines, two pinball machines (one works, one doesn't), life size statues of Marilyn Monroe, Jake and Elwood Blues Brothers and James Dean, Cushman scooter, coin operated candy vending machine, cigarette vending machine, air pump, coin operating stamp dispenser, milk bottles, oil bottles with carrying racks, several vintage outboard motors, tons of NOS belts and filters for larger trucks / semi tractors, other plastic and porcelain signs, tool chest full of tools, numerous milk cans, numerous repainted gas cans, ink well collection, porcelain statues, several glass display cases, and much, much more. The Friday session will consist of numerous boxed and loose Franklin and Danbury mint cars and tractors, pressed steel trucks, lots of cast iron toys, a few pedal cars, numerous old and modern soda bottles, milk bottles, jars and other glass, one large snooker table (bring help moving this), some Lionel trains, G scale train track, smalls, collectibles, etc. The safes have been removed from the auction so the photos have now been removed.
Prepare for two full days of buying. There will be food available by a vendor. The Friday auction session will be held with no buyers premium. Saturday a 10% buyers premium will be charged on all items are being offered online but that will be a limited list, everything else is offered with NO buyers premium and NO sales taxes as per IL state law. Neither sellers nor auctioneers assume any liability in case of accidents nor are responsible for articles after sold. Announcements day of sale take precedence over printed material. All online bidders shall pay a 15% buyers premium, in-house bidders pay a 10% buyers premium on ONLY the items being offered online (everything else is sold at no reserve with no buyers premium), a 3.5% convenience fee shall be applied for credit payments on top of the entire invoice. Any invoices not paid in person on auction day will be automatically charged to a credit card on file the following Monday unless prior arrangements have been made. We are always accepting good consignments for future sales, single items or entire collections, vintage toys, all scales / gauges and all manufacturers of toy or model trains, vintage model kits, action figures, comic books, Star Wars items, slot cars, die cast cars such as Corgi, Matchbox, Hot Wheels and Dinky, Marx play sets, vintage and modern luxury fountain pens and more. We have well over 45 years of experience on our staff in dealing with vintage toys, collectibles and valuable items.
