BRG is pleased to offer the personal collection of Lord Joël Allen hailing from his impeccably kept in his 18th century Georgian home.
Decades ago, Lord Joël Allen established his first East Coast based interior and architectural design company. Working alongside the late Lord Peter von der Geest, their client roster included jet-setters, celebrities, and prominent American families such as the Bienstocks (of Chappell Music and Atlantic Records fame), legendary song-writing team Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, Dina Merrill (daughter of E.F. Hutton and Marjorie Merriweather Post), the Vanderbilts, and the Rockefellers.
Over the course of their extensive careers, the duo acquired an amazing collection of period antiques, MCM, and vintage, furniture, impressive Chinese blue and white porcelains, and fine art (including impressive bronze sculptures and oil paintings). Fine crystal and china, sterling silver, and vintage decorative arts round out this stunning sale. Now the public has a rare opportunity to enjoy Lord Joël Allen's personally curated collection -- as much as he has over the years. Happy bidding.
