Collectors Warehouse Auction Terms and Conditions A bid by any person shall be conclusive proof that the person has made him or her self-acquainted with these conditions of sale and has agreed to be bound by them. A description and picture(s) accompanies each auction listing. While we endeavor to accurately describe and portray each item, we do not own or use the vast majority of goods we auction, and as a result cannot supply the type of information a buyer might expect from a manufacturer or owner. We do test for power up and functionality. Do not make assumptions regarding any features, functionality or additional parts/accessories not pictured or described. When we state a descriptive word (i.e. good, fair) about an item, it is only our opinion and, as opinions may vary, we will not be called upon for this opinion. Please note that the original manufacturers for some items may consider the item old or out of date and therefore no longer supported. Though all written descriptions are believed to be correct, Collectors Warehouse makes no warranty or representation of any kind with respect to the property and in no event shall be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, providence, period, culture, source, origin, condition etc. In the event that an item is mistakenly listed, recalled or important information about the product are discovered, Collectors Warehouse reserves the right to remove the item and/or cancel any bids or transactions. In an effort to keep our site free from mischievous bidders (those who bid on items but have no intention of paying for them), we reserve the right to cancel bids and/or restrict the use of our site. Items are sold in 'as is' condition. No Returns are accepted. It is the buyer's responsibility, and it is not the responsibility of Collector Warehouse, to have knowledge of, obey, or comply with any applicable laws and regulations regarding transportation, handling, storage, purchasing, possession, use, misuse or ownership of the items sold on our website. Please bid responsibly! Policies To better serve our customers and make the purchase process easier, we have outlined our policies below. Please take the time to review the information before placing any bids. - We strive to describe each item to the best of our ability. - The pictures and descriptions are of the actual items. - All Buyers are subject to a 10% buyers premium. - All items are sold "AS IS" with no warranties, implied or written. - "Powered Up" means that the item turned on upon connecting to specified power source, but all functions are not fully tested. Auto Bid Extend: If a bid is placed during the last minute of an auction, the auction will be extended automatically for an additional 2 minutes and continue to extend by 2 minute intervals if another bid is placed. This extended time will give bidders a chance to challenge bids placed in the final countdown of an auction. The auctions will close and a winner declared when the bidding activity stops. Items must be paid and picked up within 7 days. Items PAID and not picked up in 7 days will be considered abandoned and disposed of without prior notice, to recoup storage expenses. Bidder's first transaction have a maximum limit imposed and restrictions on further bidding activity will apply until payment is made. First transactions on high value items will require a credit card and/or deposit to bid, as noted in listing. Non paying bidders will be banned from access. We do not offer "Second Chance" offers, nor do we contact any bidder other than the winning bidder. If you receive any messages of this nature please forward them to our Customer Service. Protect yourself. Due to the size, weight, hazardous or fragile nature of some of the items we sell, we must list items from time to time that will be marked in the description as 'Pickup Only' - 'Shipping Not Available.' These items are the responsibility to the winning bidder to collect in Ridgetown and we may arrange shipping. Removing Bids: A confirmed bid cannot be retracted nor cancelled so please do NOT email us to do so. By placing a bid, you agree to pay for the item if you are the winning bidder. In the case of obvious typographical error, a request can be made by sending us a email using our contact form. After an item is won, it cannot be cancelled due to error. Please note that changing your mind, or failing to read the information we provide, is not considered a typographical error! Check Out If having your item shipped please follow the instructions to complete the transaction. Shipping fees, and any applicable tax will be added to your winning item amount. Shipment rates are based on weight and dimension of package. If no shipping amount is indicated, shipping is NOT available for this item. We may arrange shipping on some items marked in the description as, "No Shipping/Pickup Only". Shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder and are non refundable. Winning bidders are also responsible for any return shipping costs. We ship by Canada Post Expedited Service or Couriers, Purolator and Canpar. Shipments will generally arrive within 7 to 10 business days. Certain exceptions apply. Shipping to areas outside the main centers are subject to additional shipping costs. Pickup & Viewing We are open to the public during all available business hours except for auction days. To pick up an item simply proceed to the pick up location ( 225 Lorne Ave, Chatham Ontario) on our next available scheduled pickup day, with a copy of your winning confirmation email, and make your payment in person. Item(s) must be picked within 7 days of the auction close. Pickup items will not be released to anyone other than the winning bidder without prior authorization and consent. Ontario Taxes are charged on all pickup items regardless of address. Items are available for pick up at 225 Lorne Ave, Chatham, Ontario, Canada Any paid item(s) not picked up or removed from our premises in 7 days will be considered abandoned and disposed, without prior notice, to recoup storage costs. Payment Pick up items must be paid in person by cash, debit or visa / mastercard. - All applicable Taxes are added to the Invoice. - All payments are required within 7 days of the auction close. - All items must be paid before being shipped / released. Shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder. Winning bidder is also responsible for any returned shipments.
