Auction Terms & Conditions PLACING A BID SIGNIFIES YOU AGREE TO ALL TERMS & CONDITIONS LISTED –We sell liquidation items from major retailers in various conditions. Condition can range i.e.: ‘NEW’, ‘NEW BOX DAMAGE’, ‘SHELF PULLS’, ‘RETURNS’, ‘DAMAGED’ and everywhere in between. Checking item condition is the bidder’s responsibility. We make every effort to describe items to the best of our knowledge, but cannot check every item. All items are sold AS-IS WHERE-IS with no guarantees expressed or implied. No returns or refunds will be issued for any reason. All SALES ARE FINAL. –**CONTACT** You can contact us by phone 563-732-2094 option 1, via email sales@bwpauctions.com or through our Facebook page facebook.com/bwpauctions –**PREVIEW** We encourage all bidder’s to look at items in person during open hours Monday 9am-5:30pm or Tuesday-Friday 9am-4:30pm at 2224 Heinz Road, Iowa City, IA 52240. –**HIBID ACCOUNT** Hibid requires a credit/debit card on file to register for every auction. NO charges will be made to that card associated with our auctions through Hibid. –**BUYER’S PREMIUM/SALES TAX** All lots will incur a 15% buyer’s premium on the final bid price. Sales tax of 6% will also be added to the total price, including the buyer’s premium. If you are tax-exempt, you must submit a tax exemption certificate before payment. –**BIDDING** When you bid your max, the current bid does not automatically go to your max bid. Another bidder has to bid to increase the current price, and Hibid will automatically bid up to your max in the increments specified. If two people bid the same max on an item, the first person to place the bid will have the high bid. BWP Auctions will not be responsible for bids that do not go through. The best way to ensure your bid is accepted is to enter your max bid BEFORE the last few minutes. All lots have a soft-close, meaning any bid placed within the last 60 seconds will increase the time by 60 seconds to prevent sniping. There is also no way to retract your bid, so please double-check your bid before submitting. –**END OF AUCTION** You will receive an invoice at the end of the auction to the email you used to register with, a summary of items won and your total with buyer’s premium and sales tax. If you need your items transferred or shipped as outlined below, you can reply to that email requesting a Square invoice as noted in the payment section. Otherwise, payment is expected at the time of pickup. –**PAYMENT** We DO NOT charge cards at the end of the auction. We request that payment be made at the time of pickup(outlined next) or contact us to request an invoice sent via email through Square. Payment must be received by NOON on Tuesday following the auction, or items will be resold, and we may block you from participating in future auctions. Payment is accepted via cash or credit/debit card. NO CHECKS. –**PICKUP** Pickup will always be the following Monday after auction end, 9am-5:30pm at 2224 Heinz Road, Iowa City, IA 52240. Removal is buyer's responsibility. PLEASE bring the manpower and packaging materials you need to remove your winnings. BWP Auctions is NOT responsible for accidents. With a paid invoice as outlined above, items can be held for pickup within seven days, items left beyond this period will be forfeited without refund. –**TRANSFERS** We can transfer auction winnings to either BWP Sales in Charlotte, IA or Royal Blue Trading in Wilton, IA upon paid invoice as outlined above. A charge of $5 will be added to each transfer, no matter how many items(starting 03/26/22). Please allow up to seven days for the transfer to occur. The receiving store will contact you by phone once they have arrived. Transfers MUST be picked up within seven days of initial contact, if not, items will be forfeited without refund. –**SHIPPING** We are able to ship most, but not all lots anywhere in the United States. A handling fee of $5 per package will be charged along with actual shipping cost. The handling fee and shipping cost will be invoiced separately and will be done by the following Friday after auction close. Shipping invoices must be paid within 72 hours of being sent, if not, items will be forfeited without refund. All invoices must be paid prior to items actually being shipped. If you have any questions about shipping, please reach out prior to bidding. –We reserve the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in the case of system failures. We receive the right to reject/cancel/block any bidders that we deem to be harmful to BWP Auctions or the experience of other bidders. All bidders hereby certify that they have read and fully understand the terms and conditions listed above, and they agree to be bound thereby. It's the buyer's responsibility to understand all the terms and conditions prior to submitting any and all bids.
