Bids Davis Brothers reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse admission to any auction (whether online or on-site) and to reject any bid, as well as the right to refuse to acknowledge any bidder. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the buyer of the auction item(s). Bidders cannot revoke or cancel a bid for any reason. As an auctioneer Davis Brothers reserves the right to place a bids on behalf of the seller in consecutive fashion up to a reserve or preset price in sale with or without reserve. Unless otherwise announced at the time of sale, all bids are per lot as numbered in the catalogue. Davis Brothers reserves the right to reject a bid from any bidder. The highest bid acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the Auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder, or to re-offer and re-sell the article in dispute. If the Auctioneer determines that any opening bid is not commensurate with the value of the article offered, they may reject the bid; and if, having acknowledged an opening bid they decide that any advance is not sufficient, they may reject the advance. The Auctioneer reserves the right to acknowledge an auction floor bid before acknowledging an internet and/or phone bid regardless of the maximum bid amount provided by the bidder before and/or during the auction. Payment When making a bid, a bidder is accepting personal liability to pay the purchase price. Payment in full is to be expected within 7 business days upon the completion of the catalog sale. If payment is not received, Davis Brothers Auctions reserves the right to cancel or void any unpaid transaction and/or charge storage fees associated with unpaid property. All forms of credit card are accepted. Bank wire transfers (required for high value purchases above $5,000), cashier's checks and postal money orders. You waive your right to contest final sale approval for any of your purchases with Davis Brothers. If your purchase total is in the excess of $5,000 we may require non-credit card payment. Force majeure Davis Brothers shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, epidemics or disease, strikes or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials. Indemnification You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold Davis Brothers and its subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents, harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (i) your access to or use of the Services; and (ii) your violation of these Terms. Welcome to the Montana Frontier History Auction. Our two-day sale features a vast assortment of items. Day 2: Our Military and Firearm Day. Including a 7th Cavalry Montana Campaign Hat, a Signal Corps Messenger Pigeon Cage, Collection of Vietnam War Theater Made Patches, and many more unique and historical items. Other featured artists include: Ace Powell, Bob Scriver, Taylor Lynde, Dave Powell, Tom Saubert, Les Peters, and Ralph Earl Decamp. A highlight of our art portion is the addition of an original Rembrandt etching of Jan Lutma. Other lots of note include two industry award medals, given to Colorado Territory Gunsmith FW Freund for his accomplishments. Day 1: Cowboy Spurs, Bits, Indian Beadwork, Turquoise Jewelry, Navajo Rugs, Indian Artifacts, Chinese and Asian Objects, Tokens, Coins, Montana Photography and Historical Items, Band Signed Photos and Backstage Passes, Flags, Books, Rugs, Blankets, Textiles, and so much more. Also included in Day 1 is a large selection of artworks from the Estate of Frederick Kress a notable California Artist.

The highest bid acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the Auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion either to determine the successful bidder, or to re-offer and re-sell the article in dispute.
