FUNWOOD has been having Auctions for almost 50 years with Fleet Milsap doing the auctioneering for about 38 of those years! FUNWOOD got it's name from the hardwood dance floor. Original owner Mr. Citty opened a supper club and dance hall in the 1950's. There was an old country store on this property before the present building was built. FUNWOOD has been having Auctions for almost 50 years with Fleet Milsap doing the auctioneering for about 38 of those years!
FUNWOOD got it's name from the hardwood dance floor. Original owner Mr. Citty opened a supper club and dance hall in the 1950's. There was an old country store on this property before the present building was built. It is still well known locally for the dance hall stories and tales of times long ago with topics of Dancing, Music, Moonshine, and Bootlegging to mention a few!
Fleet Milsap leased the building around 1967 from Mr & Mrs Oakley and started having antique auctions and continued to use the name FUNWOOD! I bought it in 2005 and I'm carrying on the auction business!
