Company Information

More than 60 years a young Frank Brewer started going to auctions with his father to buy  livestock, Frank was so intrigued by the auctions that it was soon his favorite thing to do.  It wasn’t long and Frank was helping out at the auction doing whatever he could just so he could be apart of the auction. The auctioneer soon taught him how to “rattle” and before you know Frank was selling the chickens, pigs and sheep. From that point on Frank knew he would always be an auctioneer. In the 1960’s Frank moved to Eugene, OR and started his own auction called West End Auction. The West End Auction was an instant success with Frank selling anything and everything from his auction house on W11th that his friend built out of brick.  (The building is still there standing strong.) The West End Auction would eventually end up on Barger Dr. in West Eugene where it would spend over 30 years! They sold everything Frank is a very hard worker and it showed! He had 20,000 square ft. of auction that he would fill with Eugene police impounds, EWEB equipment, cars, guns, bankruptcies, storage units, furniture, antiques, tools and just tons of great items. For many years he had containers of beautiful antiques shipped from England and Belgium to his auction house in Eugene, OR.About 3 years ago Frank sold the huge auction barn on Barger and moved into a smaller location with plans to retire. At this time his Grandson Jake got heavily involved in the auction. Frank was very happy to see someone in his family with the same drive and passion for auctions as he has always had. For the past couple years Frank and Jake have worked together and the auction is still thriving. As of April 1st 2015 Frank officially retired and his Grandson Jake is the owner of the West End Auction. Jake plans to grow the auction in the next couple years and bring it back to its glory days. The West End Auction is the longest running auction in Eugene and is by far the best auction around. We hope to see you all at the auction someday soon.
