Buy, Sell, Consign, Get in the Action! The Estate of “Tiffany” George. George attended our first auction in 1994 and was a staple in the front row always buying nothing but the best! He bought the first Tiffany Lamp at that sale and the rest was history, he was hooked on buying the best items that came to our auction for over 25 years! His estate is packed with Tiffany, Lalique, Clocks, Art, Sterling, Erte, Bronzes, figurines and decorative art items. This will be the first of several sales of his collection. We are honored to take his collection and pass it on to a new generation of collectors to cherish what he loved, Tiffany and the finer things! His home was hoarded with Antique finds from auctions all over the state of New Jersey. Growing up in Sayreville and South Amboy, NJ Tiffany was what he loved. “The first time I delivered a large auction purchase I remember even his kitchen sink had Tiffany shades just sitting there!” Joe Bodnar owner of Bodnar’s Auction remanences. “His home was like a museum.” His son kept many items to remember his dad but his home too is full and wanted to see his father’s legacy find new homes. Day 1 on will feature over 200 pieces of art from several local estates including “Tiffany” George’s estate and a retired doctor/art collector. Highlights for this sale feature an oil on canvas by Ivan Theys (Belgian 1936-2005) entitled "Zelf Portnet met Minese" estimated at $2000.00-$4000.00 despite its appraisal of $65,000.00. An oil on board entitled "The Above Splendor" by Contessa Antonia Mastrocristina Sirena (1929 - 2006) estimated at $2000.00-$4000.00, an oil on board by Louis Escobedo (American 1952-) entitled "Grandeur" estimated at $1000.00-$3000.00, several works by Nicola Simbari (Italian 1927-2012), as well as old masters like an Oil on Canvas by Fredrick Jerald Kinnard (UK 1844-1884) depicting a woman with child beach scene estimated at $800.00-$1200.00. Besides these artiest other works will include artists Fazzino, Anatole Krasnyansky, H. Leung, Jules Garson, Leslie Lew, Heinie Hartwig, William Harnden, Tarkay, Theo Tobias, Salvador Dali, Susan Marx, Denis Paul Noyer, Erte, Peter Max and More! The Estate of “Tiffany” George. George attended our first auction in 1994 and was a staple in the front row always buying nothing but the best! He bought the first Tiffany Lamp at that sale and the rest was history, he was hooked on buying the best items that came to our auction for over 25 years!
