The Auctioneer reserves the right to bid on items in our auctions. We DO NOT bid on items on behalf of the seller. If we are bidding we are a paying customer just like any other. The Bidder is responsible to inspect all items and age, condition, description and authenticity of all items prior to placing any bid. Ashby Auction Company seeks to disclose any condition issues material to a buying decision in our listings. Items with no declaration of condition must be previewed to determine condition. No item is guaranteed to be in perfect condition unless declared as such. Buyers should expect wear consistent with use and physically inspect items prior to bidding. Occasionally the full working condition of an item just simply isn't known or there are limits to our knowledge of the full functionality of an item. In these cases the buyer assumes the risk and should bid accordingly. By placing a bid, buyers acknowledge that they have either inspected the item or property in question, or obtained a satisfactory condition report. Ashby Auction Company, LLC. recommends each item be examined thoroughly, including inspection by an independent appraiser or third party consultant, to determine condition and whether or not items have been repaired, restored, or damaged. Photos are provided for internet auction items but are a poor substitute for a physical inspection. Your bid is contractually binding offer to purchase, and if your bid is the winning bid you are required to pay your full invoice. Buyer's Premium: A buyer's premium equal to 10% of the gross sales price on each lot will be applied to the successful sale price for all bidders. This premium will be added to each and all lots sold in the auction. Item Removal Items must be removed prior to the end of the posted pickup period. For large items not marked as "shippable" the buyer must pick up those items or send a carrier to pick up those items from the auction location. Moving assistance is not available, buys must come prepared with all the personnel and equipment they will need to pick up and move their items. Buyers must present a valid government issued ID to claim their purchases. Items that have not either had shipping arrangements made with Ashby Auction Company, LLC. Or been picked up by the posted pick up timeframe will be considered abandoned and either donate or resold at the sole discretion of Ashby Auction Company, LLC. We do not pack and ship items.
