Hello and welcome to our newest auction.  This one is a smaller auction made up of items located at our building in Beaver Falls.  If you have some DIY projects on your to-do list, there a plenty of tools to help you get started.  We’ve also got some vintage furniture several lot of items from the local area.  It’s been a while since our last auction, so this one is a simple collection of items to get us back into the swing of things.  There are some great items here even if the auction is smaller.  Most of the items are located in the front of the building, however, several lots are in the back.  We will, of course, assist you with getting the items in the back.  We will open the side door for you so that you can have an easier time getting those items out. 

A few things to keep in mind since these times are rather uncertain.  For your protection and ours, we will be staggering pick up.  Pick up will still be only one day, however, we will not be allowing large groups of people in at one time. Per CDC guidelines, masks are required to be worn.  This is a point we will not debate.  Masks are mandatory and must cover the nose and mouth.  The length of pick up will most likely be extended to accommodate proper social distancing.   We will have hand sanitizer on hand for your safety.  If you aren’t well on pick up day, please send someone else to pick your items up.

A note on pick up, as always, it will be one day only.  That date is June 13th.  We will not offer alternate pick up days or times.  If you can’t attend on that day, please don’t bid.  We simply can’t accommodate alternate days and times for people.  As always, we will be happy to help you gather your items but please understand that you may have to wait.  We are asking that everyone bring an extra helping of patience as we organize pick up while keeping people as safe as possible.  Please also keep in mind that we do not offer delivery or hauling services, if you require this, please work it out on your own prior to pick up.  Please make sure your vehicle is the proper size for the items you purchase.

Wilton brand miter saw. This saw was operational at the time of removal. 
2. Additional Description:
This gorgeous Asian inspired cabinet is fairly large.  It has plenty of storage room in the upper glass section as well as two smaller doors beneath for additional storage.  The pice does include glass shelves which were removed for safety.  It is in overall great condition. 
3. Additional Description:
Smaller desk or table lamp.  The lamp has a swivel base for adjusting.  It's fairly heavy for a smaller lamp. 
4. Additional Description:
Thomas brand desktop radio.  This piece is a replica of an older home radio.  It was working when removed from the home.

Small Honeywell brand desk heater.  
6. Additional Description:
Older style Dremel Jig Saw.  The piece was working when removed from the home.

Weed Eater brand 12 amp electric blower/vac.  Though it says weed eater, it's a leaf/yard debris blower.

This item is a home irrigation system.  It appears to be complete and new in the boxes.  Please note that the included pump is battery operated.  We were unable to find a stock photo of this exact model.

This gorgeous dresser is from Langstron Furniture.  It appears to have birdseye maple inlay on the drawer fronts.  There are some scratches on the top of the piece, but it's stil very solid.

Vintage Singer treadle sewing machine.  The top of the table does have some chipping as shown in the photos. These old treadles were really works of art.

Lot includes an assortment of post cards.  The post cards from Eberhardt and Ober are reproductions of a much older card.

Lot includes three vintage football programs. The programs are all from Beaver Falls High School games.

Lot includes a patch from the Beaver Falls High School Ushers club and a booklet of saxophone music titled Band Shows 2.

This piece is a vintage promotional $3 bill from Duffy's Tavern in Fombell.  The front features a picture of somebody we're assuming was a previous owner.  The back features a nude woman.  I promise that the Saturn sticker over her offending "bits" is a computer graphic.  The actual piece still includes her original parts.  
111. Additional Description:
Lot includes two education savings account passbooks from Citizens Trust Company which was located in Canonsburg. 
112. Additional Description:
I was conflicted about listing this piece.  It's a draft notice from 1944 which was sent to a local resident.  We were unable to find any information on the individual. 
113. Additional Description:
This piece is a rain check from game 3 of the 1971 World Series.  For those interested, the Pirates won the series over the Baltimore Orioles in game 7.  Game 3 was played on October 12. 
114. Additional Description:
1979 membership card for the Beaver Falls Boosters.  The back of the card has the 1979 BFHS football schedule printed on it. 
115. Additional Description:
This two piece lot includes a dance card from Dick Powell's performance at Duquesne Garden and a photo from Jack Dempsey's Broadway Bar and Cocktail Lounge in Manhattan.  Back in the day, classier restaurants had their own photographers to take diner's keepsake photos.  The Dick Powell card is signed, presumably by Powell himself.  He died in 1963. The Duquesne Gardens, Pittsburgh's first sports arena, was demolished in 1956. The history of Duquesne Gardens in really interesting if you're interested in a bit of research. 
116. Additional Description:
This lot includes a program from the Beaver Falls Elks Club memorial service in 1944.  Also included is a small booklet of music for bands and orchestras. 
117. Additional Description:
This gorgeous piece is stamped G. Caneva RT decorator fresco painter.  We've done some research and found a Giacomo Caneva, who was a noted Italian artist and fresco painter in the late 1800's.  The front of this piece is stamped 1912, which would put it in the proper time period.  There is slight damage to the left corner, but the piece is still quite lovely. 
118. Additional Description:
Lot includes a pair of booklets.  One is titled "Old Fashioned Picture Book" the other is "1890's Album."  Please note, both of these have a copyright of 1960, so they are reproductions of much older works. 
119. Additional Description:
This is an interesting piece of local history. It's a certificate from BFHS stating that the recipient had lettered in football in 1927.  The piece is made out to Charles Stewart.

Nice contemporary floor lamp.
121. Additional Description:
Single Queen Anne style chair. The chair has an upholstered seat and arm rests.
122. Additional Description:
This baker's rack was handmade.  It's really a lovely piece done in solid wood and metal.  The piece is on the heavier side.

Small metal filing cabinet.  The keys are not included.
124. Additional Description:
Lot includes a pop back tee and a tee ball bat.  Both are new.

Lot includes an NHL branded street hockey practice shooter and two hockey sticks.

Faux leather and wood square ottoman.  This piece is rather large. It could be used as a coffee table.

This contemporary wall mirror has a French feel to it.   The frame is a heavier plastic. 
130. Additional Description:
Large framed print of a church in a small town.  The piece features a religious quote.

This piece is a reproduction of Girl with a Broom by Rembrandt.

We're calling this piece a sofa table.  It's in very good condition.

This piece is an Oscar Schmidt Chickering Harp Panama Model 1915.  Oscar Schmidt still makes stringed instruments.  This particular harp has all of the tuning pegs and a tuning key.  It is missing the hammer.  There is some damage as noted in the photos. Also included are the box and some sheet music.

Lot includes five vintage liquor decanters.  These are all empty.  All include their original boxes. 
135. Additional Description:
This lamp was purchased in Saudi Arabia.  It has a brass look and three lights inside.  The current bulbs are blue, red and yellow, but they can be changed.  The lamp stands over three feet tall.

This vintage china hutch has a glass front.  The glass appears to have bubble look to it.  The hutch is in overall good condition. Please note, this is one solid piece, the top does not come off of the base.

This piece is a rain check from game 3 of the 1971 World Series.  For those interested, the Pirates won the series over the Baltimore Orioles in game 7.  Game 3 was played on October 12.

1979 membership card for the Beaver Falls Boosters.  The back of the card has the 1979 BFHS football schedule printed on it.

This two piece lot includes a dance card from Dick Powell's performance at Duquesne Garden and a photo from Jack Dempsey's Broadway Bar and Cocktail Lounge in Manhattan.  Back in the day, classier restaurants had their own photographers to take diner's keepsake photos.  The Dick Powell card is signed, presumably by Powell himself.  He died in 1963. The Duquesne Gardens, Pittsburgh's first sports arena, was demolished in 1956. The history of Duquesne Gardens in really interesting if you're interested in a bit of research.

This lot includes a program from the Beaver Falls Elks Club memorial service in 1944.  Also included is a small booklet of music for bands and orchestras.

This gorgeous piece is stamped G. Caneva RT decorator fresco painter.  We've done some research and found a Giacomo Caneva, who was a noted Italian artist and fresco painter in the late 1800's.  The front of this piece is stamped 1912, which would put it in the proper time period.  There is slight damage to the left corner, but the piece is still quite lovely.

Lot includes a pair of booklets.  One is titled "Old Fashioned Picture Book" the other is "1890's Album."  Please note, both of these have a copyright of 1960, so they are reproductions of much older works.

This lamp was purchased in Saudi Arabia.  It has a brass look and three lights inside.  The current bulbs are blue, red and yellow, but they can be changed.  The lamp stands over three feet tall.

Hello and welcome to our newest auction.  This one is a smaller auction made up of items located at our building in Beaver Falls.  If you have some DIY projects on your to-do list, there a plenty of tools to help you get started.  We’ve also got some vintage furniture several lot of items from the local area.  It’s been a while since our last auction, so this one is a simple collection of items to get us back into the swing of things.  There are some great items here even if the auction is smaller.  Most of the items are located in the front of the building, however, several lots are in the back.  We will, of course, assist you with getting the items in the back.  We will open the side door for you so that you can have an easier time getting those items out. 

A few things to keep in mind since these times are rather uncertain.  For your protection and ours, we will be staggering pick up.  Pick up will still be only one day, however, we will not be allowing large groups of people in at one time. Per CDC guidelines, masks are required to be worn.  This is a point we will not debate.  Masks are mandatory and must cover the nose and mouth.  The length of pick up will most likely be extended to accommodate proper social distancing.   We will have hand sanitizer on hand for your safety.  If you aren’t well on pick up day, please send someone else to pick your items up.

A note on pick up, as always, it will be one day only.  That date is June 13th.  We will not offer alternate pick up days or times.  If you can’t attend on that day, please don’t bid.  We simply can’t accommodate alternate days and times for people.  As always, we will be happy to help you gather your items but please understand that you may have to wait.  We are asking that everyone bring an extra helping of patience as we organize pick up while keeping people as safe as possible.  Please also keep in mind that we do not offer delivery or hauling services, if you require this, please work it out on your own prior to pick up.  Please make sure your vehicle is the proper size for the items you purchase.

Caneva RT decorator fresco painter.  We've done some research and found a Giacomo Caneva, who was a noted Italian artist and fresco painter in the late 1800's.  The front of this piece is stamped 1912, which would put it in the proper time period.  There is slight damage to the left corner, but the piece is still quite lovely. 
118. Additional Description:
Lot includes a pair of booklets.  One is titled "Old Fashioned Picture Book" the other is "1890's Album."  Please note, both of these have a copyright of 1960, so they are reproductions of much older works.

This is an interesting piece of local history. It's a certificate from BFHS stating that the recipient had lettered in football in 1927.  The piece is made out to Charles Stewart.

Single Queen Anne style chair. The chair has an upholstered seat and arm rests.

This baker's rack was handmade.  It's really a lovely piece done in solid wood and metal.  The piece is on the heavier side.

This piece is a reproduction of Girl with a Broom by Rembrandt.

We're calling this piece a sofa table.  It's in very good condition.

This piece is an Oscar Schmidt Chickering Harp Panama Model 1915.  Oscar Schmidt still makes stringed instruments.  This particular harp has all of the tuning pegs and a tuning key.  It is missing the hammer.  There is some damage as noted in the photos. Also included are the box and some sheet music.

Lot includes five vintage liquor decanters.  These are all empty.  All include their original boxes. 
135. Additional Description:
This lamp was purchased in Saudi Arabia.  It has a brass look and three lights inside.  The current bulbs are blue, red and yellow, but they can be changed.  The lamp stands over three feet tall. 
136. Additional Description:
This vintage china hutch has a glass front.  The glass appears to have bubble look to it.  The hutch is in overall good condition. Please note, this is one solid piece, the top does not come off of the base.
